The Roosters forwards give you nothing, Robertson is a patient , methodical and brilliant defensive coach and not bad at attacking also. He is blessed having Mitchell, Tedesco and Keary.
Matterson on my multi gives me hope and Aubbs must be the best utility player in the last 5 years or so.

Ranked subs and 21 man teams is all you need. It will stop 5 hookers per team and ensure that you must have cover for late withdrawals. That’s what real coaches have to do. Yes, there’s luck involved in late withdrawals and injuries, but there is luck involved now anyway. Not everyone can sit around a computer or iPhone sweating on late changes every game, all weekend. Some people actually have lives to live and it’s why most people stop playing after 5 or 6 rounds. We’re only really playing among a few thousand tragic here and missing out on the wider audience. Later in the year, I won’t be able to micro manage my team through having a life to live and some dweeb with no life will win this, because he does nothing else but play fantasy and expect everyone else to be the same.

    Get rid of the loop.

I agree. I have nothing against the loop and have used it myself a couple of times but it shouldn't really be in the game. They also should go back to the old system of having reserves per position instead of having any position you want in the reserves. It takes away from the game IMO.

    Get rid of the loop.

Even before the LOOP started, someone else besides yourselves have been winning the comp each year so can't really blame the LOOP for that.

Besides how can a lucky person winning be justified over a person who has committed time for the full season?

Marsters will be a cheaper replacement for bateman? Won’t be playing the rooters every week.

And they are so strong you don't even notice Chriton is there too.

Punting Garner is looking like a consolation anyway for you mate.

What about locking out 18-21 when the captain locks out?

I did think that, but it's essentially the same as a full lockout except you could trade 1-17. Only other option would be lock them in position but allow trading to continue

For the same reason lotteries and the lotto are popular. If it were just the people who knew the percentages of numbers drawn that won most often, who actually won...no one would play. It costs money to play the lottery. It costs nothing to play fantasy.

    Get rid of the loop.

Absolutely agree Rabs, the whole looping trick gives you a free look at a boom/bust WFB each week. If Fantasy is meant to mirror the real game, then Fantasy coaches should make their team choices, 1 - 17, with 4 reserves in case of a late withdrawal/injury etc.

And I should clarify. It’s not just about the loop. The paragraph prior to that comment is the crux.
