Bryce Cartwright has left Titans training very early. Told me he was off to do some swimming but appeared to be limping.

Fuck, might have to go Cleary. Don't trust CHT this week.

Ponga at the back looks better for purely aesthetic reasons haha

I'm feeling the same trades, I have far more faith in Cleary than Morgan going forward

Yeah wasn't planning on double trading this week and wasn't planning on getting rid of Morgan so early but if it allows me to get Cleary who could be top 2 scoring half this year at such a cheap price then it's a no brainer. Only think that has me worried is the 1K ITB. I haven't been able to build much of a chest this season but still seem to be grabbing the guns when I can (teddy, ponga, bateman and now cleary). Had to get rid of Gillett, Mahoney, Bird and Burns along the way but i think those i got in are worth it.

Would appreciate people’s views on managing priorities. I’m thinking I need to upgrade my half. To have at least cleary. I also want to get Xerri, but he will only ever be cover, as I have bateman and nikora.

Thinking Rava to xerri this week.

Wait a week, then double trade. Garner/Lawrie/Cartwright/rein to clearly and a 212 player.

My concern at moment is I have too many mid ranger on bench. But dumping them will muck up team balance. So not sure about timings and how To approach.

    Would appreciate thoughts??

    Please/thanks

I can do Rava to Whitbread next week if I want to. For me getting Cleary now while everyone is playing with Morgan/CHT/Carty could give me the extra points to gain a few more spots. It also brings me another step closer to my final 17 which is the main goal.

You have got Nikora and Brown, so you can run two loops this week if you wanted to.
Im not apposed to this Beer . What would be the optimal setup ? Ive only really done 17th man loops with brown thus far

THIS! I have the same thoughts; although i have to double trade for Cleary it sures up my half for now with Cleary/Hughes (who is averaging 40 and I am hoping for a big game this week) or Cleary/Ponga. At the moment I probably have 10 maybe 11 players who I see as part of my final 17. I think I will take my chances with 1K itb.

Hate the feeling of chasing points. But I think you’re right about this. Seems an important trade. The only thing stopping you should be the effect it has on your team overall. Don’t want to smash your team get that one decent player.

Only way I can do it is double trade. That includes Morgan. If I do that means I have to keep playing either sivo or cht. So not sure.

    I hope not

For the Sharks, coach John Morris is considering switching rookie star Bronson Xerri to the wing and Josh Dugan back to centre

Thats the early late mail: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nrl-premiership/nrl-early-mail-every-round-7-extended-team-news-and-tips/news-story/e08e4b4e2135b1cc0ff1ebee04358b80

I don't like to trust most of this unless I see something a little more confident. For example; this is their late mail for the Roosters - Lachlan Lam has been named on the bench but could yet be elevated to a starting halves position, allowing Latrell Mitchell to play at centre. Alternatively Lam could drop out altogether to allow another forward to come onto the pine.
Like as if this isn't just stating the obvious?

It would have been worse if you were 1k short to make the trade.

Is that because Dugan has been cutting it up at centre and Xerri needs to see less ball after his scintillating effort last week. Fucking coaches, we could almost do without them.

Something to do with dangerous play that results in a player coming off injured they get a free one. I didn’t actually see what happened so I don’t know if the tackler was penalised or not

Had a good week last week with my first 1k for a couple of years sneaking me into the top 1000.

Wasn't going to trade this week but have just discovered I can do Garner to Smith in one trade (leaving nothing in the bank). Pull the trigger?
Could also go Rein to Smith but Rd 12 is making me think twice about that.
Already have Bateman, Cleary and Ponga.

    On other topical matters:
Whitbread seems trappy to me, Wallace is back next week so would be good to see how he goes then minutes wise

      Current date/time is Sun May 19, 2024 10:20 pm
