Second trade is looking likely to be Bird > Ponga.

Sorts out the CTR/WFB positions quite nicely. Still plenty of money to be made as well

Bird too expensive to be a NPR. I would happily move him on for Ponga. It's probably a 30-35 point a week boost

Jennings failed HIA sending Chee-Kam to the centres.

Robert Jennings failing HIA resulted in MCK playing CTR and not replacing Garner. But both in real life and in fantasy Garner delivered so he should be safe

Edit: my echoing continues by about 2 seconds with Milchy having fast fingers

Chee-Kam came on early in the centres for an injured Jennings rather than coming on in the back row later.

Rennings injured himself and MCK filled in at Centre

OK, I'm doing the sensible trade this week. Host > Haas.

Ranked 195 overall so need Burr and Lawrie's cash generation to keep the team chugging along.

So do new DPPs happen today with TLT

Is lock considered part of FRF or 2RF. Wouldn't mind Lawrie and possibly Haas getting DPP 2RF. Any other notable players that should get DPP

These two trades are my exact trades! Bird, although can hit his BE quite easily if the Bonzos are firing, they just aren't and he has services me well and made me some cash. Every reason to downgrade him to someone with a BE of -15 who seems to be living up to his name..... for now. Hoping Haas can push on and possibly make that 13 jumper his and play 60 minutes in the middle. This also allows you, like myself, to add Ponga into your WFB line and possibly into your halves later on when/if you choose to bring in a Turbo/RTS. PS. we have the same CTR/WFB line. Happy to see you still holding Gillett. I sold him a while ago.

After plying around with the trades, I am exercising the idea of Rava and Morgan out for Haas and Twal.

This would mean I'd have to play CHT in my halves but it would strengthen my FRF. Morgo isn't exactly setting the world on fire and I feel like Twal is a much stronger option.

    Team before losing Morgo:

    Cook
    Lawrie, Fifita
    Murray, Bateman, Arrow
    Morgan, Munster
    Xerri, Nikora
    Ponga, CNK, Teddy
    Rein, Burr, Haas, Garner
    EMG
    D.Brown, Rava, CHT, Kamikamica

Team after those trades would be:

    Cook
    Twal, Fifita
    Murray, Garner, Arrow
    CHT, Munster
    Bateman, Nikora
    Ponga, CNK, Teddy
    Rein, Lawrie, Burr, Haas
    EMG
    D.Brown, Xerri, Host, Kamikamica

Sacrafice Morgo? or keep him in halves and miss out on Twal?

Talk about clone teams. Pre trades my starting 17 has just 1 different from you (McCullough instead of Haas)

I'll be bringing Haas in, and maybe Ponga, so depending on who my trade outs are, we could be looking very similar.

Still running with 1 hooker mate. I'm tempted to do that and get rid of Macca as it opens up so many options.

If Cows can get into some form, Morgan should be keeper level. I'm planning on holding him all year bar injury or he somehow does an Edwards. But I'm doing shithouse so take that with a grain of salt.
