The only good things about today is I traded Haas in 30 mins before the game and Folau is never playing rugby/league in this country ever again.

Same trades. Hoping for no injuries or suspensions for the remainder of the round.Pain wrote:Bird to Haas and Gillett to Ponga firming for my trades this week.
Wonder what the rest of the games will unveil?

I'm in a bit of a pickle now. I will have to play one of Rava/Garrick/Host now that I won't be taking Bird's score at 18th man. Any ideas who I should go for?

Thats fine SI, I am not going to argue with someone who's trousers are above their breastplate.

No easy feat, considering the size of my man cans lately.

If you have a WFB loop you should be able to see Garricks score at position 20. If you like it, take that score with Rava at 21 and host at 19. If you don't like it swap Rava and host to get Ravas score instead.

I'd probably go Rava out of those 3 as he's been getting more involved the past couple of weeks. Host if I was confident he would get more minutes.
Also, well done to those that took the punt on Haas, there'll be some nice price rises coming. I briefly played around with trading him in but was nervous about his minutes.

Assuming you can't loop the scores, I'd go with RavalawaMilfordTheMagician wrote:I'm in a bit of a pickle now. I will have to play one of Rava/Garrick/Host now that I won't be taking Bird's score at 18th man. Any ideas who I should go for?

Thanks guys and no I can't loop.
My set up is
Brown 17
Bird 18
Host 19
Rava 20
Garrick 21
Leaning towards Rava because Host sucks and Garrick screwed me last week.

I think you are right Milfy, Rava looks the pick of the crop. I can see Garrick desperately knocking balls on or missing tackles with Ponga throwing passes at that left side defence.

Re: NRL Fantasy 2019 Part 31
Y'know my plan for next week was to get Ponga in but at the moment I'm wondering if I should go for a cheaper option like Gutho or even a potential money maker like Meaney so that I can fix other problems.
Macca putting up close to 50 each week may not be a problem per se but with Rein not being a permanent option either there's got to be someone better to line up with at HOK before it's too late. Same goes for Bird and not having Bateman in my side.
I mean Ponga ain't going to get much cheaper but got to get rid of those Broncos. Bird looked like a borderline keeper the first two weeks but his recent scores, oy vey I think we're getting a better look at his standard game.

Yeah nice work with your trades so far, looking good
Mine have been:
Rnd 2
Horsburgh - Lawrie
Widdop - B Smith
Rnd 3
Morgan - Moses
Holland - CNK
Rnd 4
Cook - Rein
Keighran - Carty
Rnd 5
B Smith - Haas
Ravalawa / Brown - RTS
Planned for Rnd 6
Hughes - Ponga
Ravalawa / Brown - Value forward like Aloiai / Ogden
Just 1 wasted trade so far with B Smith in and out, but wasn't the worst error, he increased in value while with me, but wasn't getting the role I had hoped for. Releasing Cook has enabled bringing in Rein, RTS and Ponga which is more than fair in exchange.
