    SJ or Cleary?
Probably the last major choice for me before the cows are revealed on TLT.
    I see upside to both.
Not convinced SJ in a better team scores better. He doesn't have to try the big point scoring plays and has a lower floor. That said he's been a starter for me for the last 3 years and delivered.
Gut says Cleary as he matures.
    Can't start with both.

Currently, I have Calker, CNK, & BMoz. Calker for dependable 40+ scoring and DPP not necessarily as a money maker.

However, I really have an urge to pick Ferguson. At the moment though there is a few things stopping me. I have been burned by my Eels bias before and I never pick wingers as a rule in the WFB position.

However, the guy is a gun and I actually think that in a weaker side he might actually see more ball. He seemed to take a hit up in every set and in the trials and break tackles and I think will see a lot of attacking plays run down his side of the field. He is highly liking to score 40+ most weeks and no-one else owns him.

    Has anyone else considered him?

Not sure if you have owned Calker before? Wouldnt consider him a consistent scorer. Has 10 minutes of brilliance most games and does nothing the rest of the game. Really frustrating to have in your team. If Wayne can inspire him to play to his best all game every game he could be buy of the year, but given his record with Milf, I would be very surprised if that happened. They are stacking the other side this season, so Walker may see far less ball, with it going to the Reynolds, Surgess, GI, Gagai side more often.

Going with Hughes, CNK and Kahu/Ravalawa at WFB, along with Morgan and Brown at half, lets me get pretty much all the forwards I want (Macca, Mahoney, Fifita, Taupau, Ah Mau, Arrow, Murray, Lane & Garner). Still think Sironen is value but can't fit him in.

Reports say Des Hasler will play Corey waddell in round 1. Most likely off the bench.

What if Xerri doesn't get the chance to play until round 18?? Cash making position wasted.
And didn't the loop last year show that really it offered no real advantage??

Nah. I'll say because I'll prob end up not running him and one of you will and he'll average 40 and good luck to you. Braidon Burns. Not min priced but reported to have Souths left centre spot ahead of Gagai. Good player too.

If any of these players are injured / lose form, he will be first in:
Feki, Katoa, Moylan, Dugan, Morris. Feki looked bad in the trials, wouldn't surprise me if Xerri starts ahead of him. Dugan is always getting injured. The upside is that if he starts in the first few rounds, you are ahead of those that need to trade him in, and until that point you are getting extra points from looping. Taking calculated risks is what this game is all about. Interestingly Xerri is in 20% of teams already.

Your team structure needs to be right to make the most of a loop, this includes the teams that your players are in being the right teams that play early / late in the round. That is what I am trying to work out at the moment. If done correctly you get to see 2 or 3 players play before choosing one of their scores to take.

Gagai is playing right wing outside GI, they are stacking the right side. Reynolds, Surgess, GI, Gagai. That confirms what I am expecting, Burns left center, Graham should get left wing, why Wayne is saying Allan won't get it.

For those interested, Braidon Burns averages 22 on the wing, but in his 1 and only 80 minute game at centre he scored 50 without a try (and Souths got pumped that day too)

Apologies for asking but I've looked around and can't find the answer. What time are team lists released?

It happens every year that there are a bunch of WFB/CTR cheapies and the ones that shouldn't go well and look crap on paper score a double and make a killing early on haha

Such a volatile spot and it does my head in that position
