    Thoughts?

Hearing Rapana is ahead of schedule - slated for a potential week 4-5 return which possibly means CNK could be under pressure to keep his spot if he doesn't perform.
Possible that Oldfield (who has battled a groin injury of late) or Cotric could shift back there and 1 of Oldfield/CNK miss out on the other WNG/FLB positions.

Kahu also under pressure to keep his spot with Clifford putting pressure on TMM, potentially shifting TMM/Morgan to the back plus he is pretty ineffective physically and injury prone.
Feel those two players are not worth gambling on for mine.

Also heard that Rapana was possibly on track for an early return but it was more like R8, and if they were performing they might hold him back to R 11-12 when he was scheduled to return

    Sauce?

I'm not concerned by either. Both players were signed to play FB. If TMM was really an option, they would've saved cash and played TMM at the back.

My wfb are RTS, Edwards, CNK.
When Rapana returns Oldfield or whoever plays on the wing will be gone not CNK.

I heard it from the latest nrl fantasy podcast on nrl.com. It was said Alicia Newton (one of the reporters) was talking to Rapana about his recovery. But even then, 8 rounds would spark a decent enough rise for CNK anyway in the worst case scenario

I think the only way CNK would lose the f/b spot was if they decide to move Wighton back to f/b

Instead of Kahu. Would you just save the 80k and play Ravalawa?

    In Favour of Shaun Lane
As starting 2nd rower he averages 48, and only has 1 score under 35, which is a nice base.

His big scores last year were all try assisted. If people are concerned about Matterson maintaining his try scoring rate this year, I'm not sure how Lane is immune to such criticism.

If he gets the wing spot I will be playing him, have never wanted Kahu.

You should you at least wait to see if he gets named before making these decisions.

I considered lane earlier when building my team, the thing that prevented me from picking him was him playing for the eels.

I can't see them finishing higher than last again this year, and i think that will affect his score a lot. If he was on any team other than Eels I would have picked him up.

I'd prefer matterson over Lane, purely because he will be playing for a much better team.

Hi guys, I think I was too useless to get myself into a league. If there is a spot open in a league that you want to fill let me know.

Of course if he's not named I'll take a miss. Just wondering if an 80k difference is worth the switch.

I've just messaged SI to get confirmation of a possible opening.
