    I Captained Brown this week.

I thought he only needs something in the high 40s? I probably cocked up the calc though
    Lol.

I looked after lockout on MTB's site but it may have changed now.

Oh well, doesn't really matter when he is going to smash it anyway and get a banner.

Cook needs 47 according to MTBs site - give it a bit of wiggle room and you'd say a 50 would do it!

Hopefully we don't jinx him, but with the rivalry and buildup of this game, he should be up for a big one.

73 last time in round 6 against the Roosters also without a try.

    From LS:

This is the time of year when buying a non-playing $212k player is probably a better move than buying a playing rookie. If you can't decide on your 17th scorer you can put them in your emergencies in No.18 and No.19, with the No.18 to play first in a round, and put a non-player in No.17. If your No.18 scores well, don't change a thing and he'll be your automatic emergency (replacing the non-player on your bench). If he flops, move your No.19 onto the bench.

That loophole can backfire in a few ways (there's no guarantee you end up with more points, and if you haven't got depth in every position in your reserves an injury could hurt your team badly) but it's something to consider if you're cashing out a player right now.

Isn't this this what the scoundrels have been doing all year when they have a red dot?

Makes things a little interesting next week. He'll take the plea for sure, no reason not to.

I'm half expecting Cook to be available for $0 when lock out lifts.

I'm thinking the opposite to everyone else. Fight it, what have you got to lose. There not going to make the 8, if they blood some new kid for 1 week, 2 would be better, it's not like he isn't carrying niggly injuries. Will the judiciary even give a fuck this late in the season when it has no bearing.

It'll all depend on the carryover points. They'll fight it if it's a chance of benefiting them next year.

Sharks might prefer not to play against Lolo so I would say it does have a bearing on the finals.

Missing 2 weeks would be a real test for those with a single trade. I feel if you have 2 or more trades and he's gone for two weeks, he's a trade.
