    At the moment I have I think I will have playing;

    Marsters Aitken
    Teddy Ponga Mitchell

With MBye 18th man.  If I trade to Turbo, Mitchell will come up and will be a killer back 5 I reckon.

Manly may have got flogged, but they still scored 24 points (enough to win a game most weeks) so plenty of opportunities for attacking points.

Don't think Canberra will be scoring that many against the Storm

I too am hoping to win the $40M lottery draw tonight. I didn't actually purchase a lotto ticket, but mathematically my chances are not that much more insignificant than those that have. #optimisticpessimist

Fantasy is far less fun when your team is set and you have to conserve trades for potential future injuries. Trading is half the fun. Which means I am down to just 50% fun! I really do enjoy that aspect about other games like BBL fantasy, where they allocate trades for every round regardless. It keeps you more involved over the backend of the season. But in my heart I know that the limited trade system in NRLF is what makes this game a challenge compared to others and I would never change that facet of the game.

Gerard Beale and David Fusitua were making some easy metres down our right edge last week. Scott and Fox are great defensively on our try line but they aren’t the best up field so I expect some line breaks and some good metres on the Raiders left edge attack. Cotric for some big point this week.

Although, Cotric went into FB for the last 10-15 minutes of the game last week so I wouldn’t be surprised to see him named at FB.

Anyone else with thoughts on trading Lewis > Levi as 4th reserve?

Means leaving Kikau/Graham/Walker out of the 17

What are chances with tapine back whitehead named at left centre, Cotric fullback and oldfield left wing?

Whitehead has played that side a bit recently.

    Probably won’t happen.

Also with the end of the season in sight, would clubs sit injured players for longer than usual with finals in sight?

Also players like Arrow/Turbo/Taupau/Lolo for instance who's teams have no shot at the top 8, say they have a 3 week injury is it possible the club would hold them back with nothing left to play for?

Those players are still getting paid good money and fans want wins regardless so I don't see that much changing.  I would actually be more worried about players from top teams getting rested with their final places secured. Unless top 4 etc comes into it.

Arrow is a reasonable chance of being rested as he is carrying a niggle. I base this off zero fact, or credible source.

Generally speaking, the players want to play. I cant see players sitting out for funsies.

I think the Storm realised a few years ago that resting players in the last couple of rounds was a bad idea. It happened a couple of times where they quite quickly lost momentum and form.

With it being so tight in the top 8 I think it unlikely to see many players get rested unless they're carrying an injury.

What was the go with arrow on the weekend? I've missed so much over the last month it's not funny and my rank and scores are reflecting it! Anything I should know lads?

Cool. Well then I hope 2 trades should be enough with Kikau/Walker/Graham/Holland as cover for minors.

How is Cotric at FB? Is he actually running the ball up or passing it?

Injured his knee first tackle of the game and then just missed tackles while he was on the field.

He suffered a PCL injury in origin 3 and aggravated it over the weekend. I suspect if he plays this weekend, he won't get big minutes. If you have the luxury of trading him, I'd probably would

I don't know about trading but perhaps if you have a good 18th man, might be worth swapping this week.

That is most likely the route I'm going down. A trade is a bit hasty

Cheers Hymen and LB. I was away a fair chuck of the weekend trying to negotiate on a few properties and basically missed all the weekend games.
