I'll put them up tomorrow afternoon/ evening . But to be honest, you should stuff the BEs and bring in the high scoring player.
I understand cash gets tight for a few people though so when I get a chance I'll put them up

    Brimson > Niukore
    Holland > Cotric

Would leave me 2 trades, 100k and this team:

    Cook
    Fifita, Arrow
    Taumalolo, Martin, Surgess
    SJ, DCE
    Aitken, Hoppo
    Teddy, Cotric, RTS

    Smith, McInnes, Kikau, Ponga
    Walker, Graham, Niukore, Lewis

Pretty deep bench and RTS probably gets relegated when Ponga returns.

    Too much depth??

Yeah mate, that's why I'm looking at reverse POD's.  I could be wrong but my read is that 4 trades left would be the average, which is what I have.  There are quite a few with none now; a few with a couple in hand for injuries; most of us around the 3 or 4 mark (I reckon); and some still with crazy numbers.

We've had those years where next to no-one gets injured in the run home, and those years where 3 or 4 go down in a single Round.  So I am happy to sit back and save ALL 4 trades up till Round 21/22 instead of trying to fine tune my team.  If there isn't a Neymar-like injury toll then I probably settle in the Top 1000 still hopefully.  If it goes topsy turvy in the last month then anyone with trades left should climb the ranks.

In regards Ponga-like most I bought in RTS, so Ted/RTS/Turbo.  For those who held Ponga, nothing lost.  But Hammies are shit so I wouldn't be bringing him in first game back personally.

In regards Cook-I have McInnes/Farah/SJ/NBrown as my 4 Reserves; and Surgess as 18th man, with Smith as my starting Hooker.

I'm leaving Cook out this week I think. He'll probably be in next week for JFH but Panthers play first and there's no guarantee that Cook will even play, or he might play reduced minutes. I fully expect another injury so whoever that is may become Cook instead of JFH.

Understand that, but in specific situation I wanted to know Brimson and Cook BEs as need them to get 6k closer together to afford trade next week. If I don't think they can then would just give up on Cook trade and bring in Crichton this week (if playing) and use the extra 100k to beef up my centres.

I can see Cook carving up against the dogs but am a little worried he won't back up. If Chricton doesnt either, I'll be forced to bring in jturbo as gallen and brown play before the rabbits this week.

I also had a Brimson to Cook trade pencilled in, but TMM actually went up more than I thought he would the last few weeks, and Lewis now gives extra cover, and then with Ponga injured I'm going to hang onto Brimson just in case. And now Farah has popped up I don't want to wait on him so going TMM to Farah this week, and have to decide whether to play Brimson or Tuala. Ughh. JFH to Cook will be my second last trade, but I tempted to hold it a couple of weeks to see who gets injured and trade them instead. Perfect sense by my reckoning, but open to ridicule.

Yeah I know, but not wasting trades on centres is basically my trade conservation technique in a nutshell.

Figured you’d be pleased to see JFH in another team. Now that the bye round is done, upgrading him is probably a higher priority.

    Cook James Martin JFH

    Lewis Holland* Doueihi Mann

    8 trades and 123K.

    A. Thinking either JFH to Farah and run with Holland until Ponga returns and Lewis would have to be my 18th man.

    B. Or James to Farah and then Mann to Cotric/Turbo/Aitken and have cover until Ponga returns but will have to run JFH or Lewis in my 17 for the time being.

Option A gives me a solid 17 but option B still gives me a just as strong 17 and a good 18th and 19th man.

    Thanks all.

    I think B.

JFH to Farah is certainly points positive, but James to Farah could be too or at least points neutral and a gun WFB over Holland should be significantly points positive also. You have plenty of trades left, you can worry about JFH next week as I am doing. I'm okay with Lewis being 18th man (he's mine because I have to because my team is shit) but having a gun WFB on the bench when Ponga is back provides wonderful loophole potential if you're into that.

I've got Farah. And Smith and McInnis. #hookers

I still want Cook, but if it takes two trades rather than one there are probably better moves I can make.

So who is everyone taking? I am really divides on Niukore, Lewis and Farah. At the moment I have Lewis and Farah, and don't think I will have the cash left over for Niukore next week.

    I'll try again....

    Brimson > Niukore
    Holland > Cotric

Would leave me 2 trades, 100k and this team:

    Cook
    Fifita, Arrow
    Taumalolo, Martin, Surgess
    SJ, DCE
    Aitken, Hoppo
    Teddy, Cotric, RTS

    Smith, McInnes, Kikau, Ponga
    Walker, Graham, Niukore, Lewis

Pretty deep bench and RTS probably gets relegated when Ponga returns.

    Too much depth??

Like it. Similar to mine and getting both the same two in this week. Too early to dump Holland may be my only question. Walker or Graham instead? Would also get more cash to help make a jump to another gun through an injury easier with 1 trade.

To get Farah I have to sell Kikau or DCE and can't sell Kikau after last performance back in starting side. Have Arey SJ Mbye Lewis halves already. Rage trader in mean wants to dump SJ after one week

I'd take Farah if it was between those three and didn't effect my ability to bring in other player (Cash).
How many trades have you got left and do you really need Niukore?

Luai's BE is apparently -36... haha

For some reason David Fifita exists twice in the system, fanhub must have changed his player ID at some point. Cbf fixing it up right now.

Thanks mate, that's the way I'm leaning also. Plus if Mitchell doesn't back up then Holland comes in anyway and my hands are tied to get another back anyway.

That's a great thought too re looping with a back. JFH Im actually happy to hold another week and probably happy for him to be a quality backup, he was sensational last week.
