Lewis is there to be biased. The idea being to get an insight into a current footballers brain who would otherwise normally be out there playing.Otherwise you wouldnt bother having him in.

Insight into the team, yes. Bias no.
Current player will never bag their own team, coach or tactics so there's always going to be an element of bias but let's not pretend that's all it is with Luke tonight.

I like having Lewis. Gives some detail on what sharks are doing. Don’t see a problem in him being a bit biased

They must have expected it tho. I don't think the channels expect unbiased commentary these days, just look at Ch 9 coverage of Origin: NSW fan club!
