    Cook Griffin JFH Murray

    Martin Fonua Doueihi Olive

    14 trades and 202K.  JFH doing my head in, but can go straight to Harris or Brown, same with Murray.  Can go Martin to Harris too in 1 trade.  It's tough, besides Coggar, I see the other 12 as keepers, plus Cook.  Even Griffin is borderline worth keeping IMO, 18th man definitely, so with 14 trades, I think I'm travelling well.  I'm spewing that I'm 1K short on Murray to McInnes.  Would love to get RFM back too.  Round 17 fucking with my mind.

    I'm thinking of holding with my round 17 strategy.  1K short on Murray to McInnes, so thinking something a bit crazy like trading Isaako back in for Martin and then Murray to McInnes.  I'm hating myself for keeping JFH over Isaako and RFM.  I know, I think I've gone crazy.

    EDIT: Probably should just cash out and get Mann. What's the deal with him taking Nightingale's spot?

    I don't think I would get Isaako back in mate he is in a purple patch atm, with 5 tries in last 4 games, why not plump for Aitken at least he is a keeper in the CTR? Otherwise do you need a CTR that plays R17? your back 5 is set anyway? waste I think

    Yeah I know mate, you're right. Just freaking about 17 for some reason. Looking at my team, the one trade out is clear to see, JFH, but I'm struggling, it's just that extra number.

    And yeah, my back 5 is set, and I'm happy. I think that's the thing, I'm really happy overall, so it's hard to see where to get these round 17 players in. Martin to Harris seems like an obvious choice too, but again the test speculation is a worry.

    CScott in for Origin if Roberts goes down. He lost his spot due to the suspension.

    Doueihi and Martin - dump them or hope they get back in the team?

    Doueihi might get another game round 18 after origin if Inglis/Gagai get rested again, but otherwise he's probably relying on injury.

    Was Martin just dumped for form in the end. If he starts he's probably a keeper, but how long do we give him to get back in the team

    I will probably ditch both, use all 4 trades this week, and get my final 17 together. Only 4 trades for the run home, and a poor round 17 score, but can just sit there and hope for the best

    Will be running without Tuapau or SJ but otherwise don't think I'll be too poorly off.

    Didn't really think about dumping Doueihi for some reason. I can go;

    Doueihi to Finua
    Martin to McInnes

    The only thing worth holding for is their BE and potential round 17 for Martin and first cab off the ranks for an injury for Doueihi.

    This will be my team

    Cook
    Fifita Arrow
    Harris JTrbo Taumalolo
    DCE Cleary
    Mitchell* Dugan/Fonua
    Ponga Tedesco TTrbo

    Smith
    Gallen*
    Surgess
    JFH

    Fonua/Dugan
    Fainu
    Katoa
    Tuala

    $480k in the bank and 4 trades.
    I can bring in Masters over Mitchell and McInnes over Gallen.
    But thinking of Tuala to McInnes if he can make a bit more cash in the next 2 weeks (currently $22k short, so that gap should be easy enough to close) and would allow JFH to move into 18th man.

    Anyone else I should be looking at in my final 17.
    I am resigned to Taupau being out of reach. Probably SJ too (plus I am not 100% sold on him remaining injury free)
    Maybe Crichton, NBrown or Marsters might be worth a shot though.

    That leaves me with $480k to upgrade Tuala in a couple of weeks to get JFH out of my 17 and into 18th man.
    I can spend more money this week, but any extra dollar spent this week makes the Tuala upgrade harder

    Thoughts?

    The old zero trades to 3 this week switcheroo.

    Ada boy. Pull...the... trigger
    All 3 are massive points improving trades and season end keepers playing 17. Plenty to like.

    Fuck it, all in

    Martin -> Fainu
    Kikau -> SJ
    Surgess -> JTurbo

    Want TTurbo too, but also want to be able to go Cogger/Brimson to him in one trade if possible so will have to wait

    Can that Hiku - Mitchell trade wait? Hiku should score more points up until R18 and the drop off in points during R15/R16 is worse case 20 points? Will get that back easy in R17

    Seems like a luxury trade to me mate and you will be spewing if Hiku outpoints him over next 2 rounds with Mitchells scoring that is a high possibility

    Unless RTS misses more games, I expect Mitchell to outscore Hiku, with a much better chance of a massive score.
    I could go Marsters instead, but that puts more pressure on Tuala to make money

    I'd personally stand pat and wait until R18 only need Hiku to go close to Mitchell over next 2 rounds then adds a scorer in R17, more points for overall total.

    Head to head, Mitchell has scored more than Hiku on 7 occasions this season, Hiku has gone higher than Mitchell 6 times

    Yes he has been moved back to CTR but he still hovers around his current average playing there regardless
