Linnett is lurking, but.. he's shithouse? Did he play as a backrower in pre season? I feel like this happened.. Maybe Linnett ends up as a bench forward/utility at best.

In any case, Green needs to move forward. He can't go back to the 2015 grand final team again and again.

hard to say who to get rid of out of inglis/hiku with both playing on form edges. i would lean towards getting rid of inglis. hiku has performed more consistently without tries at centre plus he plays 17 (may miss 15 though if he is selected for denver) so i think he is more likely to maintain his price should you need it post 17

I am willing to pay the extra $11k for Tuala on the basis that he is more likely to provide decent AE scoring if needed. I think now he has a starting spot he might keep it for a while.

Thompson - TTrbo next week is locked in (assuming TTrbo makes it through origin)

I am leaning towards keeping Hiku, scoring better with less tries so better opportunity to improve.
Can always ditch after Round 17 if by some miracle I have enough trades left by then

To play in your 17, probably not.

To be a better emergency than Matt Wright - I am betting so.

My problem this week is purely based around Taupau and whether to bring him in or go for a Surgess so I can make sure McInnes and Harris comes in next week.

I agree with Welshy's post a few pages ago.  I will be giving Taupau a miss for the year now.

That probably inspires you to bring him in now.

Loomer wrote:Need your thoughts on team and planned trades atm. I have 18 trades before doing anything and 536k itb. Thanks in advance excuse the TL:DR

My list of players on trading block with reasons are

RFM - Almost sold last week but saved the trade. 74BE too much when I can get a rd 13 gun keeper
Hiku - Plays 17 but I can get better player by then
Harris - I know people  don't get this but the fear of Denver is real missing at least 2 in next 4 and can get likes of Lolo
Latrell - Misses 2 and he annoys me bar the Warriors game he has scored quite poorly in the other 5 considering 3 games he scored a try. I'm sure there is better value that plays one more game. Him and Tohu I think I can justify with 18 trades remaining

Not selling: Katoa loop to valuable. Gosi I'd consider but need enough in reserve for CS9+Olive next week and R13 points are points. Kikau Mbye Martin my remaining R17. 9-10 trades can get me 12-13 for 17 ideally close to final 17

    Origin holds: Cook Teddy Arrow

R13 Keepers: Kapow Matterson DCE Arey Ponga (Fonua)
R13 future sells: Murray Watson Thompson Gosi

Fifi Lolo Doueihi the 3 planned transfers. First 2 mostly as highly owned. In both scenarios RFM and Harris have to go. If I sold all 4 need a CTR

RFM's 9 last week was a real bummer. I think he might make back some of his lost cash if you hold him for R17, but I have ditched him this week.

Hiku, depends who you are playing in your back 5 without him, if he is just EMG cover then I think its fine to ditch him for cash.

I am happy having Harris. It might backfire if he gets rested for the test

I wouldn't ditch Latrell (especially if you are also ditching Hiku - who would your CTRs be?) - he is one of the top CTR options this year, and most people without him are thinking about bringing him in.

I don't think I have the Balls to get him in, with only 9 trades remaining (after my current plan is done over the next 3 rounds). But my other option Dugan is hardly set in stone player, with his injuries.

Agreed, it's looking more likely that Grub becomes our main Hooker.

I have Fonua. Olive next week but bench. Could do Olive this week and get Aitken next as think more keeper than Latrell

RFM+Harris>Fifi+Lolo seems upgrade of sorts though not happy paying top dollar more fear factor

EDIT: Actually think will keep Latrell and do RFM Harris Hiku to Fifi Lolo Doueihi and 15 trades left

Those keeping Isaako, remember broncos play with a back on the bench. Assuming Niko stays half, that means Bird goes centre? It’s between Kahu and Isaako for wing spot you’d think. I love Isaako and he deserves the spot. Bird really has messed up some things for the Broncs lol

I don't own Watson but I had a very vivid dream last night that he scores a hattie this weekend.

Interesting thoughts. Surely he keeps his spot, but you are right. Maybe I trade Isaako over JFH and miss the extra cash, dunno.

    Haha you asked for it.

    Hiku > Dugan/MCK (undecided)
    JFH > Taupau
    RFM > Koroisau
    Havili > Tuala

Something tells me that Koro and Taupau are gonna have a field day tonight against the cows.

I read something earlier in the week about them trying to re-sign him for a couple more years but stuffed if I can find it now.

I wasn't looking at Tuala but he could be a trade I make to dump lamb this week.

I've flip flopped between getting Kapow in or Guerra all week, still no idea which way I'll go.
