@ Random. Thanks for the response mate. A great reply as always. The Maloney trade looks good & gives me an extra 72k cash. I watched Watson against the Titans & he looks in really good form.

@Mighty Fishes Nope. He's averaging 56 so will earn a lot of coin. The issue is whether he keeps 80 minutes going forward

If he can maintain his current scoring (averaging 56 in the 4 games since he's come back) then he is certainly worth it.

I have my doubts about his ability to maintain scoring that high long term, and he is the sort of player that Pookus will complain about breaking in a month's time. But its the sort of call I've been wrong on many times before.

    Lol
I never even contemplated bringing in Watson. Nearly all of my cursed players are guns.

Kearney is a known massive Beale fan. Hiku has been good ball in hand, but poor on D. I'd love him on the wing, but Fus and Ken are lock in's. Kearney is also a massive Tevaga fan, and it would be suicide to have Beale and Tevaga on the bench.

Connecting dots a bit, but I'd keep a close eye on the team naming on the day for the Warriors. I hope he plays, has cash to make before I upgrade the bugger!

I hate origin time during fantasy. I don't see the point getting Teddy or Turbo right now, or even Aitken. There's a huge step down in scoring from those guys, so I might stick to my current average back line for another week or 2. Could take a punt on Mbye/Cotric/Rapana over Thompson.

    Similar position here.

Kikau, Havili, RFM will be traded out soon.
Thompson, and Murray not long for my team either, but will at least stick around to play in 13

These are the players I am eyeing off as trade ins.

McCullough $725k, averages nearly 60 as a starter, but good price due to injury and returning from injury off the bench

JTrbo $835k. Probably want him in final team. BE of around his average. Will likely hover around the same price so no rush to get him in, but want his points sooner rather than later.

Gallen, $634k. I think he might be a good compromise final 17 player (not someone I necessarily want in my final 17, but who may be priced cheap enough to make him worthwhile) COuld easily drop to around $600k next week. Probably need to see evidence of going closer to 50 regularly before he is a trade though.

Tuapau $877k. Think I missed the boat here and don't want to pay a premium for a guy who I don't think can maintain current scoring. Take away his highest and lowest score and he avarges 53. Priced well above that, so will need some more monster efforts to be worth it.

Cleary $768k. If he can drop price another week or 2 and then get kicking duties back, he will be very good.

Aitken $595k + Latrell Mitchell $580k. For both of them 2nd time in recent weeks they have gone 26 or lower. Reliant on tries (or at least 1 big run) to get a big score. best scoring centres at the moment but how much is it worth spending on upgrading to them?

Kerrod Holland - $254k. Averaged 38 in 2016 as a goal kicking centre. Certainly looks a good cash out option if Josh Morris is out long term and he gets the spot. Looks a lot better with goal kicking than without (and would require the dogs to actually score some points if he wants conversions)

Congrats. Can you help me then, who would you ditch out of this lot, Hiku, Holmes, Thompson, RFM?

I have forwards falling over each other, so wanting to upgrade a back or 2. Those 3 are all playing for me.

Holmes, he was a cash out who has/is making $$ ATM, but has SOO probably. Low BE.
Thompson, he's sliding, but is playing round 13.
Hiku, I think he might be dumped, but has a low BE.
RFM, his arse is broken, fringe keeper though.

The next question is who too, keeping in mind byes and SOO. I'm keen on Holland, thinking as a cheap Ctr spot if Morris is gone. Hiku is my current ctr (with Mitchell). A straight swap would give me $558k ITB, which would give me $100k upgrades for Thompson & Holmes, and $150+ on JFH and a Kikau/TPJ/Lane.

    Pretty tempting.

    I hate Mondays.

    Is Dugan playing origin?

    Tommy or Jake?

Tommy plays this week and then has a bye/origin, so certainly not urgent, but if it means you can play a quality gun then go for it.

Personally, I'll be bringing him in for Corey Thompson. I think Corey will score more in 2 games than TTrbo will in one, so I'll make the trade before round 14. But no guarantee I wouldn't be better of making the trade now.

Jake I guess has similar equations with different trade out targets

Currently have Teddy, Ponga and Walker in WFB. Tommy would push Walker to HLF or bench.

It's tough because Walker could snap back into his scoring form at any moment, and it could be deemed a wasted trade.

Walker could be a decent 18th man maybe, who knows

I really want TPJ in my team. Without that SB it was a 77 point game.

He looks so dangerous. Surely he keeps an 80 min gig on in the second row? Been Brisbanes best forward by a country mile.
