I think the main worry is he'll move to the bench. Souths strongest pack is Tom, Cook, George, Sutton, Crichton, Sam (bench Tatola, Nichols, Murray, Utility).

Murray obviously isn't in the same league as Sam as a player, and Sam only moved from lock because the twins had been so shit at prop last year, but this year they're good.

Yep. Even though it's one game back, it's not good signs for Murray. Both Burgess twins and Sutton really stepped up this year and they missed that style Sam plays in the middle. Sam will be playing 80 every week and at this rate starting lock. I've pencilled him in as a priority pickup in two weeks time.

Saying that, Murray has been good and we'll see how he goes next week, perhaps he was a bit rusty and apprehensive, but his minutes sucked too.

Can't be too greedy but that should of been a 60 game from Arey, got gassed and lazy missing tackles

Take the 39 from Su'a or roll the dice with Gos or Cogger?

I'd probably take it. Check to see what he updates to. 40 seems easier to bank.

Don't see him getting many more minutes so I don't think he'd be a worthwhile downgrade, but he deserves to keep his spot. Although if McGuire is no good, things could change.

Murray gets another week next week to show what he has to stake his claim for the 13 jersey and big minutes.

This forum is hilarious sometimes. One minute Murray is a keeper, best second rower in fantasy etc and now after a 31 he’s penciled in for immediate trading. He’s coming off a two week layoff with a hammy problem so limited running most likely. It was also a game where the broncos pinned the bunnies down in their own half in the second half and Murray is not a player for the gritty hit up stuff getting out of the 20, particularly after a hammy problem. Bunnies looked lethargic across the park tonight anyway and I don’t see that continuing.

Really strange they are reporting Kennar as a potential season ender. He was weight bearing afterwards, with a (very) slight limp and didn't seem overly uncomfortable; intrigued.

Potential for the Johnston wing, GI fullback move

But I think AJ likely stays there for rest of season and Hunt/Dou comes in CTR and Gagai wing
