    To be fair, nothing wrong with starting a new team on Monday and working out the system over the course of this season, anyone?

    Whats a celebrity team?

    The Canberra Raiders look set to receive a massive boost for their clash with the New Zealand Warriors, with Joey Leilua likely to take his place in the centres.

    @Moose
    What about an extension on the avatar bet?
    If Whitehead scores 50 or more this week, you keep your avatar unchanged for another week. If he still scores less, then you can pick my avatar for next week.

    Pass.

    I only made the avatar bet as I was trading in Thompson last week. If he didn't get a decent score you had a shit avatar for a week, if he did get a decent score I had a shit avatar but at least Thompson had a nice little price rise. Win - win.

    Being a little harsh on him I think. Sometimes fantasy scores affect peoples opinions of players way to much, people used to gush over Fensom's ability when in football terms he was a pretty average player.

    Maybe so. I guess I was expecting him to step up this season with Cronk gone and I don't think he's playing at his best. He wasn't tackling in the middle all game last night which I found strange. At one point Welch had the same amount of tackles Smith did in 33 less minutes.

    Not saying that this happens in the NRL, but in some of the big US sports (MLB & NBA particularly), players have all sorts of "performance bonuses" that relate to number of games as a starter, making rep sides etc. Pretty sure there's been cases where teams have "benched" a player to prevent them from meeting these KPIs and therefore avoiding payouts (generally when a player isn't staying the next season etc).

    how many weeks can we expect DWZ to be out roughly and is there any competition regarding crichtons spot in the meantime?

    Though he's clearly borderline, so it may be that he starts but has to go off after 20min and pushes Whitehead to CTR again. Whereas if he was just out Oldfield would probably be in the team and Whitehead safe in the forwards.

    There was no real urgency from him which was uncharacteristic. I can understand him giving Croft kicking time for experience but the way he hung back most of the game was an unusual sight.

    On a non-fantasy note, it was great to see the Smith > Croft > Slater combo last night. Obviously no where as good as Cronk but you can see the dynamic between the three and can only get stronger as he gains more match experience.

    Could be good if he is carrying an injury, might play limited minutes, lose some more money, good pickup soon if he picks his form up.

    Please stop focusing on other players and focus more on scoring 100 points this week verse the Roosters.

    Thank you.

    I'm with the Finch.  I reckon that jersey sizes come into this more often than you'd expect from a 'professional' sport.

    You would think that they would have a few different size jerseys for each number (i.e S,M,L,XL,XXXL (for boys like georgey rose))
