What a cracker of a first week! - though, I was of the understanding J. Tedesco was a good investment? What happened there? It's my first year, and I scored 790 points with the following team:

    Ironclad Lads

    HOK: C. Smith
    FRF: A. Fifita, M. Lodge
    2RF: J. de Belin, J. Arrow, R. Faitala-Mariner
    CTR: B. Croft, B. Cartwright
    HLF: L. Mitchell, P. Hiku
    WFB: J. Tedesco, N. Cotric, K. Ponga

    INT: S. Griffin
    INT: R. Rochow
    INT. V. Kikau
    INT: L. Croker

    EMG: S. Havili
    EMG: J. Isaako
    EMG: P. Godinet
    EMG: S. McKendry

I'm not sure if I should be trading yet? [only have $4k CAB, lol] Lodge, maybe?

But I do think I'll swap L. Croker for S. Havili; and P. Hiku for J. Isaako...?

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

    Have fun!!!

Agreed mate. I can't remember hanging out for the Second round last this for a while. Great footy for the first round of a season.

Have bought in Kikau and RFM this week and next week I’ll bring in Murray and Doueihi. Sound like a good trades? Who’s everyone else trading in this week? :-)

Yeah, toss a coin. SKD against Croker (poor attacker vs good defender) or Gray against Nightingale (poor attacker vs good defender).

    Eh.

So, anyone know how to see how many trades you have remaining on the website?

Easy enough to tell after round 1. But in a month or 2 could be interesting to see people try and remember how many trades they used.

I think I'll play Isaako over Thompson this week, purely because the Tigers probably won't get near a Storm outfit who will more than likely be at their very best for Billy's 300th (they always lift for milestone games)

Can't find it either mate, and just going to have a keep a log of how many I've used. This is a really poor feature. There are so many people that are just going to think they get two trades every week, use them and come round 20 have none, quit the game or complain. Don't understand the thinking behind this, but that's no surprise.

Didn't matter against the Roosters and everyone thought Tigers were getting done by 50. I will agree that Billy's 300 is a different situation, but Thompson will still have some opportunites for some runs TB's and offloads. Isaako might be just as much under the pump playing the Cows.

On a scale of 1 to A+ how suprised would you be if Fanhub weren't tracking season trades either, and we end up getting free 2 trades every week.

So with this loop holing business, don't the positions lock at the start of the round? Emg and captains can't be changed. I think the best you can do is trade an Emg reserve

I have 9 green dots that can fill a 2rf position. Is that enough coverage?

Thompson was at home against a Roosters team who didn't turn up. This week is a completely situation against a team who looked 10x better than the Roosters did in round 1. Away to the Storm I don't see how it gets any tougher than that and Isaako is at home and the Broncos SHOULD be better this week after last weeks shitfest. Brett Morris got a decent score last week against the Storm but Montoya was horrible.

Not saying he can't score well it's just unlikely IMO.
