Draft Game 2018

Haven't done this in awhile have we.

Rules:

- Snake Draft Order.
- 8 Man Comp.
- 2018 NRL squads.
- 17 players plus a coach that can be selected at any time.
- 12 hours for picks, but no amnesty, so when the person before you has picked, your 12 hours starts.
- You can forward ranked picks to myself or someone else to pick for you if you feel you may may miss a pick window.
- If you do miss a pick window, you will recieve make two picks during your next window.
- Once a pick is made it remains. (i.e. No changing picks, or editting picks.)
- Team Write Up at the end of drafting and then open/public voting for favourite Top 3.

Welshy
Moose
Archer

Is Matt Moylan eligible to be selected at 5/8th now?

I mean.. I guess so.

Might be a tad close to open season for some but I’m in mate

I'm not normally busy at this time of year, but have to sit this one out unfortunately. I will be checking the thread daily though as it is already shaping up to be deadset hilarious

I mean Moylan is now a 5/8 so you can select him at 5/8. But it would mean your team looks awfully like the Blues... Which has a horrid track record.

Naa it is sort of just some fun between everyone. No scoring or anything. Just drafting teams for the hell of it. Nothing fantasy related.

@Random Go on, put me down, I love hearing the nonsense arguments that go on about why one draft is better than the other .

Ps: it is meant to be 2018 lists right? Either way, I'm picking up young Cotric, its just that with 2016 it might disqualify me.

But this is real life footy we are referring to isn't it? He wasn't any good in 2016 anyway

Oh i see how it is, update the original post to correct the year but not to add me to the list of people involved...

Also, some clarification because I'm bored waiting over 24hours for my next pick in the other draft and because it always comes up -  BUT, does the coach also have to be a current coach of a 2018 team (or could you pick the aus coach, some currently free agent coach, myself or Smith as captain coach etc.)

Works for me, "Archer's Frisky Dingoes" are going to be strong enough that I'll give them most weekdays off so I'll only need a part time coach anyway
