Wests Tigers have today announced the termination of Taane Milne from the club.

Milne has had a second contravention under the NRL’s Illicit Drugs Policy, the first contravention occurring at another club and this second infringement occurring at Wests Tigers.

After due process and full consideration, and in collaboration with the NRL’s Illicit Drug Policy guidelines, the club has made the decision to terminate Milne’s playing contract.

His behaviour contradicts the values, behaviours and culture being created at the club.

Wests Tigers have committed to providing Milne with support and counselling during this challenging time.

Storm had us on the ropes most of that second half, MASSIVE to get the win after that. You could tell how much of a grind it was after Benji's field goal when next to no-one had the energy to celebrate.

The backrow has been our biggest weakness over the last 5 years in my opinion so good signs there early. I wrote Lawrence off a couple of years ago but he has hardly put a foot wrong; great to have Alioia's mongrel back; and Rochow has worked his arse off, and also does a great Kenny Edwards impersonation to close a game out!

Hopefully Packer is okay, I haven't had a chance to read what happened but the fact he stayed on with the strapping is a good sign. If he is out Sue will be wanting to prove a point, unless Grant gets the start.

Just enjoy each week, that's what I'm doing, not saying we will or won't play finals footy as I don't want to be dissapointed

How good is it to be a Tigers supporter right now. Can't believe how well this team has gelled and is playing the entire 80 min. Years of disappointment still has me worried but geez I hope we can continue our giant killing ways.

Best wait until you are actually playing finals footy. History has shown the Tigers fall to pieces at the mere mention of finals football.

Not even Andy G can buy you a gurnsey. 1st time we aren't paying someone else's cap and we are contenders.

Its so awesome to see them winning these close games. They cant score points but fark their defence is looking good. In reality they should be undefeated too.

It's hard to watch to be honest, too many mates/family support the Tigers.
