The MBye go yourself was shit, but he has been great the last couple of weeks aside from that, so kinda just glad we are getting something out of him now. Brooks did it on the left as well and it paid off, but just as easily could have bombed another one.

I reckon that was probably the best we've looked all year, despite the result.

Not upset with the result. Realistically we aren't at the level of the Storm and Roosters, so I liked the "take the 2" game plan

Realistically they should have won that game NW... It came down to simple errors in the end.
Could see it coming with 10 to go (as usual) but fark.. they had that game won.

A valiant loss is all well and good but as was the case with the Warriors a few weeks ago, when they should have beaten the Storm and subsequently got pumped by the Knights....the true test will be if they go backwards or forwards next week (albeit a game they are not expected to win against the Bunnies).

Same as the Penrith golden point loss

Didn't see the game last night but by the sounds of things we did well and played better then the storm. Is it worth watching the replay?

We lost so no, we are still the best team in the comp to know how to throw away a game

The first half was a bit of a dull affair.

2nd half was gripping to watch. Probably a little less tense watching ti knowing the result. I was stressed as anything in the last 15 minutes. We never looked entirely comfortable, but for a while I thought we'd hold on anyway.
We created a lot of problems for Melbourne's right side defense. Mbye bombed a try, and Marsters held up in goal, could easily have got the win with a couple of things going our way

Yes but turn it off at the 70 minute mark.

Thought the short 3 day turn around would hurt us, great win by our boys against the Dragons today.

Great to see Chris Lawrence nearing a comeback. I saw him interviewed the other day and noticed a slight speech impediment. I hope that's only temporary and he gains his looks and vocal cords back upon completion of his rehab, poor guy.

And no, I couldn't be bothered watching the replay of the Tigers v Storm game.

I heard that Robbie Farah has gone over to Spain for the Champions League final. He’s a massive Liverpool fan (like me). Beer
Tickets are being pawned for about $8k a pop. Not that he couldn’t afford this.

^ Hopefully he comes back in a good mood and carves it up for the rest of the year

Apparently DWZ is close to signing. I wish this was not the case, don't rate him, but Madge does and that's what matters. Who in the side would relinquish their position I wonder?

Seems weird we recently signed him though. Although he has been crap compared to last year

As I said at the time of the signing, he was a product of being on the end of a red hot back line. Graham is doing exactly what Jennings did last year. Finishing off tries. Probobly even better than how jennings was doing it last year. He is a garbage centre I reckon.

The irony is that people who can afford them, get them for free

I don't care Liverpool won but I care Robbie will return a happy man and put in a good performance next week. I can only hope

Clarkey wrote:The Wests Tigers have already began their hunt for Robbie Farahs replacement. They have signed Queensland Maroons under 18's hooker Jake Simpkin on a 3 year deal from 2020.
Simpkin led the Maroons under 18's side to victory last night over the Blues. He is a young prospect with plenty of talent. The Broncos have reportedly viewed him as Andrew McCulloughs replacement for the past few seasons.
The Tigers have both their hookers Farah & Liddle off contract at the end of 2019. They are rumoured to be interested in Sea Eagles hooker Api Koroisau, but have started their recruitment drive with Simpkin.
At 17 years of age, Simpkin had multiple clubs interested in him, but the opportunity to play first grade in 2020 with the Tigers proved crucial in the decision around his future.

No way we start the year with an 18 year old kid playing hooker. I read that to say, bye bye Liddle, MBye to hooker for a season.

WTF is happening at the Tigers. Listening to those with more footy knowledge than me I eventually was influenced Madge would be good for the Tigers but some of his signing are just total shit.

First, he buys Jennings, now playing reserve grade
then he tries hard for DWZ and thank fuck he didn't sign with us
now he wants Mannah, FFS we will never play finals with Madges signings.

What can these players do that Packer and Taylor can't. I don't rate these guys but fucking Mannah is no better.

Following these pricks will take years off my life
