The only bright spot I can take from the game is that Penrith were at least as bad as us.

There's not 16 first grade quality fullbacks as it is, let alone before expanding and spreading the talent thinner. Same for 5/8ths.

Yep. I would even argue halfbacks, hookers and centres could come under that.

There are enough quality spine players. Imagine a competition where every club had a marquee spine player.  Someone to build a club around. Rather than some clubs having 3 marquee spine players and others having 1 sub par 1. Everyone gets 1 and the salary cap spreads the talent across the board to make the competition closer than it's ever been while simultaneously tapping into new markets and growing the game.

I would love to visit disneyland one day too
