I like this idea. I would personally prefer this in NRL Fantasy also. Would reward those of us who generally pick and stick with their trades early on in the week. My tactic of focusing on cash building early then stacking my squad with bye friendly players during the origin period paid off as evident by my top 100 finish and L1 promotion for 2018.Shanbon wrote:You cant beat the English fantasy price change system, the more a player is transferred in the more their price goes up, transferred out the price goes down. Doesnt matter what they score.

Will be interesting to see how the lack of byes next year will effect Fantasy. Essentially it's been cut to 2 big bye rounds, so on 1 hand not as much planning required, but on the other you will need to swap out a whole team in 3 weeks, so it could be a lot more strategic as to how many trades you burn and how many players you go with in those weeks.

Definitely puts a new slant on things.

did anyone else with a live pass earned from the early-bird fantasy leagues just get a voucher for the 2018 season?
in an e-mail from Telstra News titled 'We're changing the way you stream NRL', for those who go looking

Yep, got the same thing.
Makes it easier than trying to fill a billion leagues with stupid names before the season starts

Anyone having moral dilemmas about bringing Matt Lodge into their 2018 nrl fantasy team?
He'll be cheap as dirt for a starting front rower.

And to think i took him to a few Sharks games when he was a youngster. This guy has had alot of chances. If it smoothes over a fantasy Cap, i think we have to give him a fantasy moral pass as well.

yeh, i don't really think about morals when it comes to Fantasy games, Lodge doesn't profit from me clicking the plus button next to his name, so it's no skin off my nose
