Wacko is a decent guy, and I remember it well when he first started doing "Wacko's Whispers" on Sportal. I have no recollection of him ever claiming to be a journalist, and I never had the impression that he was anything more than a well-meaning amateur, who was trawling the internet to give us on the forum a better late mail service than the media were providing back then.

Kudos for him for eventually getting a gig on Supercoach Talk, and then Foxsports. I certainly appreciate his efforts, and as with any other late mail in the media, I use his info as a guide (of what I need to keep an eye on), and I DON'T take it as gospel.

Thank christ i found out 20 mins before kickoff that Crichton and Surgess was out. Managed to reverse trades and trades Crichton to Mannering and Surgess to Taupau. Taupau hasn't been great but i only need 1 good game from him and with finals on the line now is when he will.

I've been a member of "sc addicts" for a couple of years & it's an excellent source of news & it is very credible. There's plenty of club insiders in the group & what they post is always accurate. For example the Crichton out news was posted quite early tonight & the guy posted the text he received from Crichton himself that he was sick & couldn't get out of bed & that he wasn't playing tonight. If there are any rumours floating about I always check sc addicts & if the rumour is posted on there I know it's true.

... I missed out on the Surgess info and as a result can't now 'loophole' as his absence took me down to 17 - but I missed the update

Only had Brown and Fui play last night, very surprised that I've only dropped 8 spots.

Managed to avoid most of the carnage so far. Don't own Surgess and had RTS ready to come in for Crichton. Depth is pretty stretched now with next man up being Whare or MWZ.

I was going to take a punt on Hingano as 4th reserve but they are giving Johnson till gameday
to decide if he will risk it. The alternatives are Cotric or Hayne. If I pick Hayne I will need a shower afterwards.

With Gurgess and Fui having already played, I only have DWalker available to come in. Tualau sitting there to be a crap AE as well

I'm already copping an AE this week so it's down to who is shitter between Lewis Brown and Hame Sele. Unless of course Nu Brown is a late in for whatever reason, I put him at HLF after A Rey was ruled out so hoping Maloney or Townsend decide to have a nap.

It's funny that on paper this is the best season I've had yet in terms of final overall position yet I've copped more AE's than I have in any other year.

Such a low intensity game. Titans have nothing to play for, but Robinson must be furious with the lack of effort from the Roosters one week of from finals

Hope the Titans can pull off the unthinkable but I highly doubt it.

Pearce needs to do more rather than throwing forward passes.
