yeah - week 1 of our boom trade didn't work out so well for you. Miller and Jones are just one game away from launching on the season, but I just wasn't willing to wait the season out after 8 weeks of up and mostly down scores.

It may still work out for you with McCaffery's bye coming up next week.

Miller scored roughly what i expected. Jones was down but thatll happen, just waiting for him to bust out of his TD funk. The Fuller injury wasnt great for you, he was looking good even with Savage at QB.

How on earth did i pull that out of my arse? At least i got a measure of instant revenge against Welshy for thumping me in the sportal league...

2 wins on the trot now, it will be nothing short of miraclulous if i somehow manage to avoid relegation after starting the season 0-8.

Well Funchess just got dumped to the waiver wire in L2, but I can't find anyone I'd rather let go to get him - plus I just loaded up on Panthers over the last week:
Acquired McCaffery in trade
Waiver pickups of Jon Stewart (cuff) and Olsen (stash).

Not sure if I could justify holding another Panther on a bye week.

On a related note L2 - how the hell is Greg Zuerlin still sitting on waivers?!?!? I dumped him last week (cause I think Gostkowski has a better schedule), but he's still there - surely you all don't think your kickers are better than the clear No1 in the league?

Yeah I dropped Funchess...I actually thought I had dropped Booker but such is life. It's a bye week and I wanted Marqise so all is not lost.

You're right about Zuerlin, I guess I personally don't pay too much attention to Kickers but perhaps that's an error. Don't think I've ever picked up one on the waivers and have relied on scraps based on match ups lol
