Upon reviewing the Bulldogs/Dragons game this morning, it became evident to me that your tackle count recorded for Aidan Tolman was indeed correct.  I am but a man and sometimes get ahead of myself.  Whilst I reserve the right to still bitch and moan about the scoring going forward, in this instance I was wrong.

What do people think of these trades?

Slater to a cashout eg Hawkins
    Elliot to Taupau
    Hampton to Lolohea

Leaves me with 6 trades and 58k

    Smith McInnes
    Brown James Graham Fai
Taupau Taumalolo Gallen JDB Surgess Crichton
    SJ CWalker Lolohea NuBrown
    BJ Hayne Fuimaono Kelly

I had an avatar bet with them-I offered them Tolman.  They agreed and said if I lost they would send a piccy of themselves working diligently on the stats.  I've honoured my word.

With only six trades, what is the reason for getting Lolohea? You already have 5 solid R options for the run home in that team, would you play him over anyone else in your 17? Hampton could (though outside chance) get a starting spot this week too.

Hmm yeah I guess that's fair enough, just thinking of Lolohea higher ceiling. How about the other trades?

Cant argue with the other two - hawkins a cash out and taupau a keeper, they are no brainers.

I think Lolohea is a 50/50 but I guess it depends on what you see in him. Unless you see him as a final 17 I'm not sure you need to bring him in.

You're obviously running 1 HOK 3 2RF reserves so there's no point with 6 trades left getting Lolohea who I'm still convinced is a trap

    Brailey - McInnes
    Slater - CScott
    KNiko - Laybutt

13 trades and 580k bank. I think I've talked myself into Taupau over Tolo so will wait until next week to make Whitehead to Taupau, then it will be Semi - Rapana and I will just about be done. Pearce in R20. Final team something like

    Smith - McInnes
    Vaughan Fifita
    Gallen Surgess JDB Taupau Crichton
    SJ Pearce
    Leilua Hayne
    RTS Tedesco Rapana Edwards

Pretty sexy team if I do say so myself

    That is very solid.

My best (and final) 18 is now

    Smith (McInnes)
    Vaughan, NBrown (Graham)
    Gallen, JDB, Surgess (Crichton)
    Johnson, Norman (Walker)
    Leilua, Moga
    Tedesco, RTS, Edwards

    18th: Hayne

My current plan is to have only 18 available players after the bye rounds.
This will probably mean cashing out Fuimaono and hoping CNK, Field and Marsters don't hang around first grade.
Gives me the strong AE and the option of loopholing if I'm down to 17 for the week.

Speaking of loopholing, who's everyone going for this week? Quite a few to pick from.

How many playing this week after those trades?  Having that much cash kind of counteracts the lack of trades as you won't have to use as many trades to get guns in.

just reading that myles could be in a mid transfer deal to the storm. I know he is a plodder and all. but the storm have good byes. and at 200k could be worth a look if he moves immediately.

What would you expect for him though. You'd probably only get 50 points over both big bye rounds. I can't see him doing much better than he has been, plus the injuries he has been having lately, I'm surprised he going to a new club at all. I don't think it's worth the trade, unless it's one of those mid tier cashouts just to get enough for what you need and you don't need a full cashout.

Thanks for the advice guys. Should I also consider cashing out Graham to fund bringing in Turbo and possibly Cleary for Hampton?

It's a done deal & Sipley has gone to Manly. Both effective immediately.

Expected to see the Warriors line-up by now and then I realised they have a bye.

    I'm going home.
