How we looking for next week?

    McInnes
    Brown
    JDB Gallen JWal Crichton Capewell
    Lolohea Hampton NuBrown
    Sione Suli Talakai
    Semi Walker MWZ

Looking at JWal>Vaughan and Whitehead>Harris if JWal grabs origin. Would love Laybutt to grab the cowboys halves gig so I can cash out Hampton and still get a scorer

I'd be turning Ponga into Teddy/Rapana. Your other concerns are Pritchard and Hayne but he isn't worth enough to do anything with so just wait and see how he goes back at fb.

What are you still holding Ponga for? I have him too and finding it hard to shift him out for some reason.

Is Dylan Edwards a legit option in your backs? Is he going to hold his spot? Sorry if already discussed but I havent had the time to research.

The way they played and how Moylan went at 6, he should keep his spot. He was really solid at the back, so if named, that lineup I think should stay. Carty out for like 3 months so should be sweet.

    McInnes Brailey
    Fifita Brown Wallace Yates
Surgess Crichton Bodene Kaufusi Elliot Fui
    SJ Lamb Niko Frawley
    SMat Croker Cotric Kelly
    RTS Slater Semi Suli Ponga

    391K 17 trades.

I need Gal don't I?  Bodene to Gal, and maybe Niko to Lolohea.  Ponga to Rapa is surely tempting though. Munster, JBrom and Tolo next week I'm thinking.

The main reason I brought in Elliot was for Bye-coverage. Putting aside the fact that he subsequently grabbed an 80 min gig, his use for bye cover is only 1/2 complete. Why on earth would people be trading him out? He's a round 19 trade for me!

Because he's just about peaked and if you can get 15 & 18 cover who's a keeper why wouldn't you

Ponga to Mansour and Bodene to Gallen.

Mansour plays one more game then Rapana, I'd wait for rd16 and trade Slater to Rapana if he plays origin

People questioning timing of trades. Faufusi>Kapow 2 weeks ago and Whitehead>Merrin last week is a +115k swing and 2 final 17 keeper guns

I'm sold on teh Bodene to Gal trade.  Bodene can go and suck a fat one.  I'm just worried Mansour somehow might get picked for Origin 3.  Unlikely if the current team stays fit, but you never know.  Rapa with a BE of 3 will cost a lot more round 16 too.

If Slater doesn't get picked, I might go Ponga to Kapow, or JDB in 16.

Munster is probably the best gun who plays 15 + 18.

You're just sitting on that nest egg in Ponga, aren't you? Your backs seem set so no point in bringing in another one so I reckon Elliot or Bodene to Lolo or Big Gal.

    I've got

Gallen, Tolo, Mannering, Surgess, Taupau, Merrin
    SJ, Norman (hopefully)
    Dwalker, Cotric
    RTS, Slater, Edwards

This pretty much has to be my run home team as I have 8 trades left.

    How is yours looking?

Looking at it practically with 15 trades left I need to use 5 trades next 2 rounds to get bye numbers set which leaves 3/3 or 4/2 upgrade/cashout to get 17 set with 4 trades for injuries. That makes Munster more appealing and Edwards less(unless he's actually a keeper)

Down grade Suli or Cotric this week if your not worried about byes then upgrade the other one next week, will leave you 2 more trades next week for a 2nd down grade and upgrad.

I don't know what it is man, it's hard to trade him out. Watching the game last weekend though, I actually thought to myself, 'man, Coote ain't going down, I'm really an idiot for holding Ponga lol.' Might as well hold him one more week and see if he nabs a spot next week, but with O'Neill likely to be dropped, unless Hampton moves to Morgan's spot and Ponga comes onto the bench for some unknown reason, I'll trade him next week or the week after. Was looking at Nofo which will be a sraight swap next week almost but his form has lacked. Munster needs to come in somewhere though next week.

Might actually go Tolo this week and Gal next week.

Because presumably you brought him in as great bye cover with the hope that he might make a bit of coin in the process to then use for an upgrade in round 19. The only thing that has changed is that he has been a way better buy than most would have hoped - so it makes no sense (in the bigger picture) to drop him when he will do still the job that you had hoped for when u picked him up (in fact he's likely to do a better job).

Unless of course you are telling me that you brought him in simply as a cash cow? When did you bring him in by the way?

Rd 10 so made 116k. I'm looking at my spreadsheet and Elliot and Cotric have to go this week or next. They've done their job. I'm looking at getting a close to 17 for the remaining byes. Sometimes you have to cut players to maximize byes even though they play 18 because they don't dovetail well enough and they're not keepers

if you're an idiot for holding him then I must be a real porridge for choosing Abbey over him way back when..
