Yeah I put him in the match-day thing too to get a look at how he might score with a bit of extra motivation. Not to be. Getting engaged has dropped his game massively.

Well slow day today might as well ask. I was weary of trading Slater for Cody Walker because he'll miss Round 13. However I noticed the Storm play 2 days after Origin I. Surely there is no way that he would back up so soon given the precautions they've already taken with him.

I have my doubts that even Smith will back up which will be interesting because I'll have nobody left in the HOK position if that were to happen.

Weren't the Bulldogs stopping their players from playing in that game?

If I had to guess, Smith will back up because he's an uber-fit freak, but Slater will probably take a rest. That's all just a guess though.

Des loosened his policy a bit. Josh Jackson was absolutely not allowed to play, but Adam Elliott is in the game.

Yeah its hard to predict what Bellamy will do but I'm sort of in the same boat although I can play Brailey in rd 12/15 if he's still around.

I think both will back up but whether both play a full game is another story. To sort of countetact this I've brought in Munster at WFB and Walker at HLF. That way they can cover for each other when one isn't playing and the other is as well as being able to plug up any holes from missing players.

I think Munster will rack up some nice scores filling in for Slater during origin so get him before his price goes up!

I'm not sure that Slater playing origin is that cut & dry. Last year's back 5 were:
    Boyd, Oates, GI, O'Neill, Gagai

Chambers will come in for GI this year. If Slater was picked then Boyd will go to the wing but would they drop either Oates or Gagai to accomodate Slater at f/b. Oates is a great finisher & his height is both a defensive & offensive asset. Gagai is in great form & played very well in last years origin series & we know the selectors show loyalty to those that have performed.

My Slater trade will be in round 12 anyway and if not named I would reverse it. Thinking maybe take a punt on Semi. If Slater is named he misses AT LEAST 4 games, possibly 5 so I'm trading. I want to do the same with Smith and Fifita and I have banked four trades, but still might not have enough. I'll probably run out but then again no point finishing the season with spare trades either. Certainly will depend on whether ARey plays origin because if he does I'll need to waste a trade getting him out.

Yep, Fifita's a shoe in.  Jurbo is tremendous.  Between him and Tom and the younger brother, hopefully Manly pay them what they are worth next contract because they seem like the type that will stay loyal.

They both signed till 2020. Jurbo 700k Turbo 900k package deal i believe.  Seems pretty fair to me

Haha, yep, very fair! Didn't realise they were on that.

Cocaine seems to be the drug of choice in the nrl probably because it takes 2-4 days to clear the system so it doesn't get picked up when the clubs test them. Cocaine use has been going on for years in the nrl & it seems to be a very popular pass time.

So I have just been looking through my bank accounts and noticed that NRL Fantasy has been taking out a series of payments periodically. $4.99 here and there, going back almost once a month for some time. Who do I even contact about this?
