Ryno is spot on. This draft moves slow enough as it is, the best way to speed it up would have been to wait longer before starting it.
The surprise start would have thrown people out. Without time to prepare how would anyone work out to pick Cam Smith first.
I was waiting for Moose to send me a PM before I started thinking about who the good players to draft would be.

I’m not saying we should have waited longer. I’m saying the dickhead organising this thing should have sent a PM to say it was starting, instead of just hoping people figured it themselves, unprompted. But the same dickhead organiser didn’t even send a PM to say the league had opened in the first place so I don’t know what I really expected.

6 hours notice to start a draft. No message sent to the participants giving them the heads up it was starting early. No notice given to get your pre-draft player rankings in. Just a post buried on page 40-something of a thread. Seriously - you couldnt even send a PM to everyone to say, "heads up, were starting this thing this arvo"? Instead its oh, you didnt log in between 11am and 5pm on a Saturday? Guess you missed the start then. Too bad.

Just to confirm, everyone in league One knows is started now right? The drafting obviously isn't going as planned as you have me in league One when I didn't even play last year. I don't get the hostility as the picks so far have been fairly predictable but anyway, got the thread moving regardless.

Second glance and it might just be because I’m viewing the page on my mobile but the draft live is horrible, only selection you can see is the previous one before you make your pick, not even a list of the 5 most recently picked, only way to see who has chose who is by using the drop down feature and viewing their team
