Had all week to move him out was always going to be unlikely to play.
Partial lockouts are shit in ultimate because everyone loop holes every position which is why we canned them.

Everything Wednesday & Thursday said he was a decent chance at playing - right up until captains run on Friday. It seems ridiculous that once a game has been played on Thursday, you cant make changes for teams that dont play, potentially until Sunday.

That's why it so key to have depth. I always try to have emergencies all playing (see Capewell in my lineup) so that if you decide to take that risk you have cover.
In your instance I would have moved Lafai to the bench in place of Dugan and bought YT into your starting side at WFB. That way at least you would have had the emergency cover of Tupou.

Sure - but it kind of defeats the advantage of having dual position players, if you cant actually move them around to cover injuries, unless the injured player was ruled out potentially 5 days prior.

I was just thinking this upon checkin the ladder out myself! I think this was the ladder in NFL draft too yeah? Anyways, clearly it shows that we didn't belong in L2 and we are now, rightfully so, the bream of the crop in L1

Moses, Frawley or Bird to play in the Half position?

Outta those three I'd play MM's mate... Bird has been lacklustre at best and although I don't have a great deal of info regarding Frawley (haven't looked into him TBH) I'd have no conviction playing him in my side over Moses
