Is anyone else concerned by the scores Cook was putting up playing 50+ minutes in earlier rounds? 16 and 28 playing 50+ minutes is poor.
Granted he was used in a role where he didn't have to tackle much and he's a workhorse playing 80 but the concern is there

No he has spent time in the centres (15 mins for Talakai concussion), played out of position I thought after Surgess got knocked out against Roosters.
Think round 1,2 and 5 are the norm for Cook. Will at least be hitting 45s

Looks like Mutts isn't too far away from first grade then.
I think he needs to earn his spot back through NSW cup though, to be honest.

Last week Cook made 50 tackles as an 80 minute hooker. That's just pure base stats for a start before he unleashes his attacking game.

1 trade for me this week = Brailey out & Cook in

I really think he'll go well especially this week against a disrupted Panthers side

    Smith, Cook
    Fifita, Wallace (F. Kaufusi, Yates)
JDB, Surgess, McGuire, Hess, CHN (Winterstein)
    SJ, Lamb (Jacks, Field)
    Idris, Cotric (Kelly, Talakai)
RTS, Gutherson, Abbey, Ponga (R. Jennings)

Because the Bulldogs play before the Cowboys I won't know for sure whether Ponga plays so I'll start Abbey & reserve Ponga. If Coote ends up playing I'll take the R of Ponga & put it on F. Kaufusi or Jacks. Of course if I know Ponga will play for sure I'll start him, put Abbey in my npr's & put the R on F. Kaufusi or Jacks. That's the best plan I can come up with.

It's funny reading the Cowboys forum today. A couple of days ago they were saying yeah it's only the Tigers & we'll beat them by 50. Today after the news that Granville is out plus the fact that they reckon Morgan's shoulder injury is worse than first thought & also because they reckon Coote won't play they are now panicking & freaking out a little.

Bringing Cook in this week so I'm sure he'll score 14 or something. Sorry all!

    My unbalanced team:

    Smith, Cook
    McGuire, Wallace (Faufusi, Yates)
Toumalolo, Surgess, Mannering, Hess, Bodene, CHN
    Thurston, Jacks (Frawley, Field)
    Turbo, Cotric (Idris, Kelly)
    RTS, Slater, Ponga (TRD, Hayne)

How come there is confidence about Cook getting the gig long enough without Farah rearing his head ? Farah isnt confirmed goneskis or anything.

Why is that funny? Take out Macca, Milf and Boyd and the Broncos would struggle as well.

Does anyone have any solid info Re Yates ? He seemed to be killing it regardless of fantasy and came off last time he played because of injury it seems. But why no proper confirmation about an injury.

Having to fight the urge to trade rage again this week.

Can bring in McInnes for brailey. But requires going kbrom to nuff.

Leaves me with McInnes, kfausi, chn, Yates, elgy, jacks, idris and abbey as my playing reserves. It's very thin

In a black comedy funny sort of way. It's not funny because the players are out, it's funny because they've gone from 100% super confidence of winning to now doubting themselves. I find that amusing.

Maybe they just heard Luke Brooks signed for a further 2 years, no doubt he will put in a match winning performance vs the Cowboys.

I wonder how many teams have won the week after a brand new coach has been appointed. I don't currently have any facts to back it up but I feel like it would be higher then 60%.

Apparently it is 10 wins to 14 losses - according to the telegraph

Yes great team mate & it's stacked right across the park. It reminds me of Pamela Anderson running down the beach in Batwatch cause she is stacked too.

Batwatch would be an interesting TV show

Ah okay. Can't always trust your gut feel then I guess.

On an unrelated note I think I've found fiddy shades ideal woman.
