What does the rest of you squad look like if you are leaving 4 of these guys out? I'm playing Jacks and Yates but don't really have any other options from Elgey, Frankenstein, Suli, Moga, Kelly, TRD and Leota and Papalii not even playing.
Probably a by product of no Brailey.

    My team for the week

    Smith, McInnes
    Fifita, AFB
    McGuire, Wallace, Faufusi, Smat, Yates
    Norman, Johnson, Jacks
    DWalker, Cotric
    Turbo, RTS, Ponga

Hoping to crack the 800 this week. Now who to captain? Has to be Smith I guess given he could kick a few goals against the Tigers.

Yeah, I would go 3 times Storm and Brailey if no segy, otherwise SMAT. Elgey no chance.

Pretty boring week, seems everyone is a wait and see. By far the earliest I've ever banked 1 trade, let alone both.

Rolling with this sack of meatheads this week:

    (C)am, Brailey
    McGuire, Yates, RyJames
    Merrin, Mannering, FKaufusi, JDB
    Lamb, Maloney, Jacks
    SMat, Talakai
    RTS, Cotric, Uate

NPRs: Leota, Sironen, Frankenstein, Hingano, Kelly, Jennings, Suli & Abbey.

Question marks over SMat, Talakai and RTS. Jennings would come in for Talakai, Kelly for SMat. Suli last resort for RTS playing second last and last respectively.

What are peoples thoughts on Pearce?

Thinking of doing Elgey - Pearce this week. Sironen - Whtiehead next week.

Have SJ in the halves with Field + Jacks.

Yeah, although Jacks looks good and could put him over SMat.

Yeah I did give thought to the whole Storm V tigers thing. Tigers stank last week, and have just lost their coach. Storm will be their usual consistent self.

Time to get rid of 1 of my red dots:
    Phythian out - Ponga in
Time to move Sione down to the ctrs:
Suli out - Capewell in (via Sione)

This is how I'll line up this week:
    Smith (c), Brailey
    Fifita, Wallace, F. Kaufusi (Musgrove)
JDB, Surgess, McGuire (Capewell, Winterstein, Yates)
    SJ, Lamb, Jacks (Field)
    Talakai, Kelly, Sione (Idris)
    Gutherson, RTS, Ponga (Cotric, Abbey)

My only questions is do I play Kelly v Bulldogs or Capewell v Eels.

    Thoughts & thanks.

    Is Capewell job security risky?

Will play origin and therefore miss 4 games. Big attacking play last week got him a lot of points. Not sure. No need to rush this one. You would probably be better off getting Cody Walker for overall. Up to you, A Reynolds is injury prone.
Cleary doesn't seem to be posting the big scores like last year yet. DCE will have points taken away from him by Green. Reckon Norman/Gutho is the best option for overall.

I looked at this too, but his job security is just too risky.

Yes Capewell is a risk but his short-term security is pretty good. The main reason for buying Capewell is for my team structure as Capewell should get dpp 2fr/ctr either next week or the week after (not sure which) so I can move him & Sione around & it helps for advanced trades. Even if Capewell only plays another couple of games he'll get a run during origin. It was interesting that Lee was dropped for Feki rather than Capewell & I think Capewell is a more solid option than Beale especially for his defense. So I believe Capewell is in front of Lee & Beale in the pecking order.

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck has passed his concussion test and will take his place.

Gerard Beale is expected to come back into the starting side, pushing Kurt Capewell to the bench where he will play as a forward unless there are injuries in the backline.

Whacko has written it is expected that Beale will come back into the side and that Capewell will slip onto the bench, I presume for Joseph Paulo. Can cover backs and forwards so makes sense. Could end up getting 15 mins or less and bye bye cash making. Then there is the whole segy conundrum and with heighington and bukuya the only given benchies, you have latimore, Paulo, capewell, Williams all fighting for a spot alongside segy.
Too much risk for me on Capewell now thinking about it all. You also have the fact that when Holmes is back to full fitness you would assume he goes back to fullback, bird centre and Beale or Lee on the wing. Leutele and Feki stay on the left. Just don't see it worth the trade now.

hmm, bummer. still might just trade him in. allows cash to be spent elsewhere.

not sure if any other frf/2rf at low cost appeal.

don't say hoare. absolute fantasy dud. dead spot in your team

Happy re RTS but this cancels my Capewell trade & somewhat dispels my theory on the pecking order re my previous post haha.

Don't do it. Say Capewell scores 10 points this week, who are you trading him out for?
