Crowd was 52191 last night. Think we can call that a sellout.

Its not a great side but proabably the best we could hope to name. Urgh. Ponga makes such a difference. In hindsight, its good Mbye is going into his 3rd origin game and not debuting, he might have to do a little more heavy lifting when he comes on this time around.

Good to see the famous loyalty policy ensure Ofa and Fifita are back. Great thing to have, pride of QLD.

So how is this spine looking?

    Norman
    Munster
    DCE
    Hunt

    Or

    Munster
    Norman
    DCE
    Hunt

    Or
    Morgan/Norman
    Norman/Morgan
    DCE
Hunt. (Munster to centres to counter Turbo, cause Morgan certainly can't)

Still can't believe Mbye is there, especially now you have Such coverage for your spine already.

    FB - Norman, Munster, Morgan
6/7 - Norman, Morgan, Munster, DCE, Hunt
9 - Hunt, Morgan, Norman at a pinch.

Where does Mbye fit in, for whom and when?

RYNO, brother, that is one of your dumbest posts ever. Not funny, not a cheeky burn, nothing, just a shithouse response. I'm legit interested in the thought of the Qld supporters on this one, it's an interesting development that could work for Qld. I know what way I'd go, but I'd like to hear the thoughts of others.

    ......"wittle".....seriously, who says that? Wow.

I mean, I'm 100% sure there's been dumber posts then that and I thought I was pretty clearly taking the piss... but thank you?

Mate, I'm all for taking the piss, I love the banter,I just expect more intelligent banter than that from you. Its not nesessary in response to a legit post from me. If I was having a crack or saying shit like "Mannah hard done by not to be there" then have at it.

Yeah fair call. I'll take a leaf from America's First Hostage Lady and Be Best.

If theres something on topic to add, Munster will clearly run out as FB as he's the only one in the team who actually sees themselves as a long term FB, Norman, MBye and Morgan are all (in their own mind) halves. Munster always wanted to be Billy 2.0 prior to Slater's retirement. MByes role wont change.

I actually like Munsters running game at FB in attack, I worry about him under a contested highball and him not getting enough ball standing 1 bloke further from the ruck but I think they'll game plan to get Norman out of the way when needed.

You say that with confidence, as if after 2 games someone has actually worked it out and been able to articulate sensibly. Or it's a polite way of saying "fuck knows ?"

If Qld line up as expected with Munster at 1 and Norman at 6, look out!Im tipping Normanto arrive in a HUGE way on the Origin arena which will give them some really tough decisions for game 1 next year.

If Qld win, which they should given that spine and Pearce back for NSW, what happens with Ponga next Year?

If all fit, they can't drop an away game series winning spine, so I guess the logical option is Ponga in Mybe Out. Makes for a fantastic spine going forward with absolute danger on the bench, something they just don't have with Mbye there.

I wish you'd give up chasing a false underdog status, it makes you sound like one of them.

Please show me where I have previously incorrectly suggested we are underdogs? Given the spine and Pearce's return Qld should win, but I actually accept in this game we should probably be slight favourites playing at home and coming off a big win inPerth.
