No surgery required for Jarryd Hayne is positive news, likely grade 2 syndesmosis sprain. Recovery would be in the 3-6 week range @GCTitans

I'm holding. Even though he can be a tool, with his talent and all their injures he's a certain starter when he returns. Guys like rennings could get a game this week and then out the next. And it's not like you are leaving gun $ on the pine

Hayne's price is not really worth doing anything with at this stage. I'll hold for now, especially when you have Talakai lying around.

With Cartwright faking an injury to take the spotlight off his week, looks like he'll play. If you owned him, would you hold or fuck him off.

Wallace's base stats are tremendous, but will probably settle in to more like 50 minutes instead of 65?  Unless something has been said about his minutes that is more concrete?  Hasn't he only been getting those minutes due to injuries?

Going swimmingly here thanks man Cool

Yeah I tried to look at Wallace's base stats as a reason not to get him, but 43 tackles/141 metres in game one and 34/114 as his only scoring stats for 45 against the Knights. I figured his minutes were a good sign this week, but I guess McQueen went to centre with Don, Hayne and Lawton all going down.

Siro playing 80 and hitting mid 30s tackle counts makes a good enough case for hanging onto him. Those run metres are a concern though (48/44), but I think Manly's attack should get better with deadwood like Stewart and Matai gone.

Tough call, but if he's playing 80 on an edge in that team could be a keeper but if not you have to get rid of him this week or else he'll bleed cash

Exactly, if I don't trade him this week, he would have lost way too much money.

Talakai could be back earning at any time though. With Hayne we know he's gone for a number of weeks. Talakai at 197k and Hayne at 204k, so I'd rather get Hayne's $ doing something.

went from ~ 2600 to ~1400 but had a weekly rank of ~7500 which makes me feel better, seems most of the teams ahead of me had bad weeks too. Elgey may have to stay if Jacks is gone, he's my only depth in the halves, unless i can upgrade him by downgrading hayne to someone.

The minutes probably need a little more looking at. Does anyone know if it was purely due to the injuries that Wallace has averaged 65? I mean, rare for any starting prop, let alone 2 in the same team with Ryan James.

If it is purely the injuries, then Wallace probably ends up averaging just over 40 all things being equal.

Shame Ponga will most likely get the fullback gig while Coote is out. Would like to see Carlin Anderson get a run for a few weeks.

Even if Jacks loses his place, there's still games to be played from him. Round 13 Storm play on Friday night, so if Storm near the top of the table, Cronk may get a rest. Storm also play the next two bye rounds, so I'll hold him if I can.
