Thoughts on my Lamb/Carty halves pairing?

SJ is tempting but Foran could hurt his productivity once he's in.

Not sure, halves are such a lottery. I've decided on SJ and Norman due to long kicking and attacking potential plus SJ should have GK duties back.

Others I considered were DCE but Green will take some kicking by the sounds of it, A Reynolds but injury risk always and has sat out games/training with niggles already.

Premium halves in Pearce and Cleary should be dominant but for me they cost too much. Feel you could get Carty in much cheaper at some stage.

They also had Mataora who started the season strong, this year he is the sure fire no.1 prop with little behind him so may be forced to play big minutes. It's not just the minutes his avg after mid season until seasons end was 41, that's 5 above his price and his last 5 avg was 45.

Due to interest in Wallace I've thrown a few stats together. Priced at 30 average from 36 minutes

    2016: 8 games of atleast 40 minutes
    38 in 48 minutes with 28 tackles 118 metres, 50 in 56 minutes with 41 tackles and 107 metres, 36 in 53 minutes with 28 tackles and 105 metres, 41 in 47 minutes with 37 tackles and 81 metres, 35 in 46 minutes with 27 tackles and 99 metres, 28 in 44 minutes with 25 tackles and 96 metres, 27 in 47 minutes(second row) with 30 tackles and 37 metres, 57 in 52 minutes with 25 tackles 107 metres 1 try

    2015: 8 games of atleast 40 minutes
    21 in 41 minutes with 15 tackles 81 metres, 52 in 49 minutes with 22 tackles 162 metres 1 try, 39 in 45 minutes with 23 tackles 77 metres, 53 in 51 minutes with 40 tackles 150 metres, 40 in 44 minutes with 30 tackles 113 metres, 51 in 40 minutes with 31 tackles and 115 metres, 34 in 43 minutes with 24 tackles and 85 metres, 40 in 43 minutes with 25 tackles 136 metres

TL;DR in 16 games playing atleast 40 minutes Wallace went under his round 1 B/E three times with one of those games being played on the edge. In those games he averaged 40.12 points which would have him under prcied by around 100k

Yeah, you're right, but you can probably get SJ cheaper too like past years. That's the thing as you say, it's such a lottery that I'm going for the outside option of a second rower. Just hope Carty still plays 80. No reason why he shouldn't though.

Historically Foran has actually been good for his halves partners scores.

Oh.  You just made things harder for me.  Thank you. bounce

EDIT: Now I'm thinking that Foran might be good and take some pressure off SJ and he will play a better and more natural game. Damn this game!

    How do people rate Austin?

You may think his scores are inflated by the break out of Laipana last year, but he doesn't pass.

Also, coped early injuries in two games and played with injuries as well?

Any chance of being undervalued at 335?
