The poster who said Surgess just had a kid. Interesting fact is that when a males child is born our testerone levels drop to make us more caring. So it has the opposite effect to steroids. Could very well affect him
I'm going to try a new strategy this year and that is to start and finish with a different set of guns to everyone else (except c Smith), so guys like surgess, fifita I'll avoid for now and try bring them in later. See how we go
I don't mind this strategy too much, plenty of top tier guns that are being avoided. James Graham, Mannering, JDB, Pearce, Cleary etc Could work out really well if they start the season firing

2 teams posted in old thread have King 2nd hooker. Now he's playing 2nd trial for Wenty surely people are not going with him still?

Or k pritchard is suddenly appearing in alot of teams. Too many question marks around pritchard, king, ballen etc.
Id rather take a punt on someone like peats as he might play a bit of lock if titains name a utility on the bench.
If king or someone happen to play 80 and do well then i can easily downgrade peats.

Brad Arthur wants a 80 minute hooker, problem is I can't see IDG playing 80 minutes at his age, so it seems like KP is the front runner as CK is running around for Wenty.

Tigers JL might be the sole hooker at the Tigers for the first few weeks with MB recovering from injury

I cant see KP being an 80 min hooker making 50 tackles but im happy to be proven wrong!!!

I did notice Nathan Brown slot into the hooking role at the 9s when king went off...

I'm (not so) secretly hoping that King becomes the trappiest trap that ever trapped (so many people have him picked). But then again, I picked him initially and I'm having difficulty letting go of the rest of my team (particularly my halves of Cartwright, SJ and JT) to run with 2 good hookers. Bah.

Out of King, Pritchard, De Gois. De Gois is the only one that has actually played 80 minutes at hooker in first grade before.

I'm just going to avoid Parra hookers altogether. No guarantee that whoever they run with in round 1 will still be there by round 4.

Any of us who have had a kid know full well that even if your testosterone goes down your irritability goes through the roof.

Sam will want nothing more than to go and smash into some blokes at the weekend. He'll average at least 70.

Liddle has his own injury at the moment as well.

McIlwrick or Marshall-King will be used on the trial this weekend - I'd suspect one/both of them would get a run if Ballin/Liddle aren't ready

My best ever fantasy result came when I was off on paternity leave with my boy during pre-season.

Maybe I need to pop out another to get things happening again.

what is everyone planning to do with the last few FRF/2RF if no bolters present themselves? Obviously most of us have guys like Hoare and Stimson pencilled in. Hoare will likely be in the 17 but those 5th and 6th 2rf spots are looking mighty difficult to fill on the cheap.

Anyone willing to take a punt on Easy E @ 151k if he starts? From what I've heard, Sims will come off the bench to start the year and Easy E has the front running to start at prop. Though the problem I see is he may only start for a couple of rounds.
