Literally everybody in the top 50 has Smith, Fifita, Graham, Mannering, Merrin, SJ and Aitken in their squad, and on top of that would estimate Friend, James, Whitehead, Cleary, BJ, Croker, Ted are over 50% ownership, with Cartwright, Gallen, Munster and Barba not far off. Hard to find a POD who's going to score significantly more than them on average. (I guess Mansour did this week)

Fantasy may just have to touch up the way points are earned.
Not sure how, but as you say, hardly any consistently scoring pods anywhere.

Im sure they used to have points for every hit up, not just meters made. Also points for total minutes played (I think), not sure what else could be changed or added to make more players desirable

maybe make it 3rd man in/flop doesnt count as a tackle. Fifi fends doesnt count as tackle breaks, etc

Apparently there was an 1137 in rd 7.
Although I know Barba is still owed a try save for his tackle on Hurrell right near the end.

Barba was over the top and I think it was Beale underneath.  Will Barba still get credit for it do you think? Seems like Beale was the one that rolled him over. Could be wrong though.

Forced line drop outs should definitely be worth points.

A few injuries now would be interesting. There were so many injuries/suspensions in the early rounds, that there are likely a significant number of teams near the top who are out of trades.

If a couple of key guys go down, its my only real chance of making up any ground.

I imagine a lot of the high-up teams are running out of trades (I know I only have one left) but the corollary to the early season injuries is that they let teams make a shot ton of money out of Parcell/Garvey etc to go with all the Hastings/Taylor/Barba dollars. Consequently a lot of teams have strong 18th, 19th, even 20th men - also helped by Gutherson being genuinely solid back cover if he's at 5/8th - so an injury striking might only mean 10 points less a week rather than 60.

I've seen tackles where 4 blokes all get the try save.
Underneath would be the main contributor to my way of thinking.

Cool. Barba did have a lot to do with it, almost just as much as Beale.

I could be wrong but Barba could be owed a couple of tackle breaks too. Not sure though.

I've seen try saves awarded to 3 defenders for literally holding up a walking man over the try line with no chance at scoring. The attacker wasn't even trying to break free. 5 points is too much for something like that. It should be one point if anything.

Thanks! I'm quite proud as I never thought it would be possible this year with the way I started (having no idea what the heck I was doing).
But I've got my shit together as best I can, with a whole 1 trade left since round 16 Embarassed
