When I traded in Brailey I thought his leg would fall off before 13 and the problem would resolve itself.

Instead I'm doubling down and captaining Mahoney for his 30

Laughing yeah pleasantly surprised he's lasted this long.

May yet join you on C Mahoney, between him and Teddy unless Moses is a late out.

Yeah and although they're just shirt numbers, Flanno seems to love Eisenhuth playing the link man forward at 13 and JDB playing a shorter stint with more hard carries as prop.

Russell down in 21 for me. If he doesn't go 40+ Teddy comes in to strengthen the backline

Have also currently made a wild Matterson to JDB trade.

JDB looks good for 50 points (good enough for final 17) with a chance he gets the big minute middle spot back. Some handy byes only missing 16 between now and end of origin.
Keep eye on R20 bye numbers with Eels, Sharks and Dragons

Maybe they’ve spent years carefully planning for byes only for a perfectly balanced 13 score the same as 8 in the end anyway because it’s filled with turds. I’ve held Kris all season for this week and I still don’t even want to play him

Thoughts on Sam Walker? Depleted cows this week, then the bye, but then a weak ass draw. Him, Teddy, Dom Young, May... they should all go boom 💥

I figure that if you are going to have one bye where you don't play 13, R13 is the one to do it. If you optimise for R16/19, you are more likely to minimise trades. So for R13 I just kind of aim at the general vicinity of bye planning. Injuries this year have made it more difficult.

Looking forward to shuffling the deck chairs preparing for 16/19. Hopefully it works out

I have a bit of a cash surplus and I was going to try to spend it this week but there are no GUNS that are ready to keep because of origin that I do not already have.

It kind of makes it hard to use trades wisely this week

I ended up trading out Angus, who is gonna miss 4 of the next 7 for the original null null

and I got rid of Havili for Hands

There are a number of promising HOKs that will play 16 & 19...

I will work out which one is most likely in a few weeks...

Getting Fifita at his lowest price has probably been my best move this season in hindsight... Not too concerned about not having Hynes at the moment... He is gonna miss a lot of games in the coming weeks and by the time I am ready to pick him up he will be much much cheaper

    Anyone trading him out

Carrigan scored pretty well during Origin last year, despite not playing 80. Convinces me to hold for the time being I think.

Thought I’d look forward to Round 16 numbers but have a few too many ifs and maybes in the team to even bother.

Outlooks for Wishart, Faalogo, Wighton, Salmon, Hughes, Weekes, Strange, May could all be very different. I imagine Hughes/Strange won’t be in my team that long. Who knows what happens to Wishart and Faalogo when Pappy returns.

Interesting month and a bit coming up

I just ditched him. Initially he was part of my bye planning, but realised I could sell him for JDB who also covers 19. Thank god for all of my DPPs - Kiraz, Aitken, Weekes, Sorensen alone give me massive flexibility.

Why is everyone trading Angus? Y'all got enough trades that you can get him back later, or just risk not grabbing him again? I know he misses a chunk but until the second origin game we won't know if he backs up or not after origin.

Also Brown owners are you all keeping him for this week? Moving on from him next week? Or going to persevere until Rd 20 with poor scores now Moses is back?

Not sure which way to go on Curran v Preston. Would prefer Preston on paper for sure but what is going to happen when Kikau is back (which might only be in 2 games time). There seem to be too many forwards to go round in that team and Ciraldo appears to like starting Salmon.

Most of us have to trade at least someone this week and it may as well be the guy who misses 3 of the next 4 games and will leave us with a decent amount of cash left over.

    Averages 50s in 2021, 22 and 23 with Moses?

Not a Henry owner because.. that's a weird pick up.. bloke scored 0 one week (Might have scored slightly different in VSDT)

But RFM named starting again during the bye week is such a nice feeling so I relate

No plans to ditch Brown in the short term at all, he had a bad start this season next to Moses but has averaged about 50 next to him for the last four years.

Still averages over 50 with Moses the last 2 years so happy to hold until Origin is over and then see how many trades are left

Ya know when you're right, you're right.

Depending how his scoring goes he could slowly lose $70-100k by the time Rd 20 comes around... Moses could also be injured as well I guess.
