I’ll be playing 17 this week -awaiting the triumphant return of both Cleary and Galvin next week. I held Cleary kast week and moved up about 9.000 places, so doing that again will move me into the top 1k then. Lussick and Cheese are departing this week. Two greens, I know, but whilst they aren’t the shittest if my shit they are far better enablers and I’m sick to death of both of them. Shoes can’t be sold anytime soon and Burbo will score better at centre so survives another week. No Raiders leave this week for obvious reasons and Talagi surely replaces Harper before kick off, or next week, so he stays. That leaves me Kini who will be a handy loop next week. Russell somehow survives again but I need his 10 points at FB this week before he becomes Campbell next week! In comes Iro and SJ /Captain Grant. I was all set on SJ but that Storm run over the next month looks too good to ignore!

I don’t see how Schiller is even relevent in Fantasy. He is a must in SC and Dreamteam though. Surely even Ricky doesn’t change a winning side or stop me making 200k in two weeks in SC!

An alternative take would be that they stash him away for most of the year so his value doesn't rise.....that's business  NRL Fantasy 2024 Part 27 - Drove the Chevy to the Levi - Page 3 1f609

Watching Ramien closely, he just does alot of negative, game turning things, its always been his thing too, even in his initial stint with the Sharks. But in between, he can be very strong/dominant for patches and here he is, a starter. This is purely from a fan perspective, nothing to do with fantasy. It just happens so if Ramien was dropped, it has a fantasy impact in Iro.
Their is a lot of forwards here, and a few niggles so that's another gateway for Iro. But also at the  end of the day like I alluded to yesterday, this is a sub 300k potential cow who may even bang out decent scores long term and hopefully short term for a cash boost. Me personally I don't look at this as such a risky play, if u bring him in and it doesn't work out it means u jump to another from him later. It's all setup for a potentially easy quick cash boost at the least, plus u get to view the Sharks in action with an increased ferver - come join us !

Like you say, there are a few gateways for him and no doubt he gets a number of games this year.

The challenge (and this probably goes for a lot of us) is that for the last 4 weeks I've had 17 or less players available before trades, which makes it really difficult to grab someone that you feel has tenuous job security.

If we had 25-man squads I'd be all over it. If we had 3 trades this week I'd probably grab him as well... I may still

Agree. I can see case for Iro on the whole, and if Chevy was not named this week I'd probably gamble but Chevy to me seems the safer option*

*I can very much see how this is going to go now I have said that.

@BCT05 I feel bad, I think. Could be the copies of Big League I've been fornicating over though as I look at photos of David Hatch and Alan McIndoe.

All you suckers making a choice between Chevy and Iro Basketball .....The only guaranteed way to pick the right one is to get them both and to get them before either their selection is guaranteed or their job security is established.

Honestly, sometimes I think I'm the only one who knows how to play this game*

*I definitely do not know how to play this game

@Aardvark by the way, yes I do imbibe the southern state eclipses into my decisions actually, MTB hasn't yet put them into his footystat calcs though.

I have this feeling Chester is going to go really well and pending injury I don’t have to worry about JS?

    Part two of "it's fun to play the Titans";

Here's how fullbacks have gone so far: scored (their season average against other teams)
    Blake Taaffe 21 (31) - 1 try
    Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow 59 (50) - 1 try
    Scott Drinkwater 81 (51) - 2 tries
    Tyrell Sloan 64 (35) - 3 tries

Titans have conceded  7 tries to fullbacks in 4 games so far (without even having to play the likes of Ponga, Turbo, Teddy, Walsh, Papenhuyzen, Mitchell)

How will speedy Chevy Stewart go?
