I have to admit that was a great game.

TA or not, I'll take that from Grant, nice to lock in a 60+ captaincy score.
Hopefully he gets it in the updates (and they're feeling extra generous and give him one for Katoa's try too).

Went from 20,000th to near the top 1000 in that game. 100% confident I can hold that......

Great game of footy.
Better if we won but whatever. Was fun. Some bad decisions by our players but no reynolds walsh haas piakura, you take the positives from that

Quietly concerned that the Storm can score 34 points and Paps is not terribly involved. With Hughes, Munster and Grant there are suddenly a lot of cooks in that kitchen. Can’t be too worried about this after just one game, but I wonder if weeks on we find the hindsight play was Paps>Gutho going into that Storm bye last round

Agreed. Happy with that for a captain's score if that's what it is, but hoping for a few presents under the tree when I wake up tomorrow morning.

Yeah it's outrageous. Put him through a pinpoint gap and all. Literally a pinpoint gap.

I'm good with it, it was worth a crack to cappy pappy. Other choice was KPP if brought in. Hynes last week, tricky one this week. We go again.

Papy has never had a huge base and he has lost goal kicking which makes his floor even lower. However pretty much all of the Storm's trick plays involve creating space for Papy giving him opportunities for the big scoring plays.

(C)arrigang rise up! 67 points all in base is what we love to see
2/158c, just him and Papy in this one.

Definitely disappointing tonight, but he's scored well with those guys in the team before. I'm sure he'll be fine. Just the irritating ups and downs of the WFB position, I reckon.
