Should do. I wonder if he has to play at CTR for 4 weeks before it happens?

Might be different as he hasn't played a game yet this season

If it was R1 and he was named by the Boys' at CTR he would be given dual in fantasy wouldn't he, hopefully they do the same before the round kicks off

At the moment my trades are:

DCE -> Milf (And goddamn everybody jumped on him too, so if his scores drop it's on you guys!)
PetMat -> HHunt (I'd like to do KEvans -> BLaw, but PetMat is leaking $$$ and feel like between Parcell, Jaifiti, Whitehead and Rochow my 4 reserves spots are kinda nailed down so may have to let BLaw pass)

In that case, come on down Moses Mbye

Edit: And if he's banned, TMM (Wiki says he is a Kiwi who spent time on the GC and played for Keebra, close enough for me Razz). AND IF HE'S BANNED then I guess we can play DCE there, or just run 4 forwards.

Hopefully Timu does, not just for Fantasy, very interested in seeing how he goes. None from the Tigers when Woods goes I don't think. Buchanan floating around and Sue will probably move into the prop rotation. Although Rod Griffin would be great Fantasy wise if he's up for it.

Would Mbye not be a bolter for utility in those circumstances. Certainly offers more actual utility than DCE.

NSW backline - thinking Tedesco, Dugan, Jennings, Morris, Roberts. Maybe Moylan in there somewhere. Any other ideas?

Team for this week pre trades, hold them or make some changes?

    Smith (c), Parcell
    Woods, BLaw, Evans, Grant
Surgess, Whitehead, SST, Guerra, Saifiti, Cartwright
    Hastings, Walker, Taylor, DCE
    Aubbs, Gutherson, Littlejohn, Scott
    Barba, Fergs, Mitchell, Mann, Feeney

    Thanks for your thoughts

Thinking of going DCE > Mansour via Barba and Mann > RTS, just to have something to be cheery about haha

I think DCE is probably a trade.

Not sure who but plenty of options around.

Others it might be worth looking at trade options - Mann, Littlejohn, Scott, Evans, Feeney
(keep an eye on Guerra too - don't want him going back to 6)

Hmm, I've max traded every round so far, but have only got 14k cash to splash and still have 5 almost permanent red dots in my team (Mann, Feeney, Green, Benry, Jedwards).

I think I should probably look at bumping 2 of them for players that will play and can live with keeping 3 in my team until closer to bye rounds. Otherwise I'm just not increasing my team value enough.

That's sound reasoning right? I'm not just trading due to my addiction? I know I need to ween myself off the trades soon or it will be too late... but maybe just one more hit of a double and I can  try a single next week....?

Awww man, looked further and having Evans in my team and Carter approaching butchering time... >.< Fark.

95% of the time ever since Rd 1. Worked this morning for the first time in 10 or so days for me and of course blank screen of death from now til next Monday probably. The fantasy and matchcentre sections have all worked without a hitch though. Australia is deadset absolute garbage at anything internet-based. Been dealing with this shit from nrl.com for a month, it's definitely on their end.

    Anyway..

    Round 4

    Score: 792
    Total: 2785
    Rank: 29009
    H2H: Lost by 17

    Round 5 team

    (C)am, Parcell
    J Trb, Tolman, Campbell-Gillard, Gavet
Harris, Carter, Rochow, Cartwright, Ma'u, K Bromwich
    Milford, Hastings, Taylor, JNik
    J Roberts, C Lawrence, L Brown, Gutherson
    Gordon, Hunt, Barba, Mitchell, Feeney

    GTFO: Paasi & Ferguson
    GTFI: Tolman & Mitchell

Dunno what's going on with the Carties, but I'll chuck the R on Lewis Brown and Mitchell would probably be second choice over Taylor for me if there's injury/dropped concerns.

Is no one concerned that in round 1 JDB played 76 mins in the middle and scored 37?

Think DCE will likely get the boot if he is missing a month

$145,000 in the bank, anything else need doing?
    Carty/Rochow/Turner to a GUN maybe?
    Welch - BLaw?
    Henry/Scott/Feeney - Bowen?

    Smith, Garvey
    Woods, JTurbo, Surgess, Welch
Merrin, Taupau, Cartwright, Turner, Rochow, JSaifiti
    DCE, Hastings, TMM, Taylor
    Aubbs, Gutherson, Auva'a, Henry

I'm a fan of trading hard early to get your team right. And injuries have made that almost essential for most people this year.

The main thing to worry about is trying to limit future trades, so not trying to bring in guys who you are likely to have to trade out again in 3-4 weeks.

You can afford maybe 1 or 2 permanent red dots in your team (especially if they have DPP and allow flexibility elsewhere) but to have 5 of them limits your money making potential for later.

Better to have a half decent team and hope for no injuries in the run home, than to have trades up your sleeve but be too far behind the pack to do anything with them.
