KBrom took over from Stone at the end of last season, so probably one or the other.

I've moved Haas down to Hop. But will be running Grant/Cook as VC. No way I'm starting with a budget hooker this year after it killed me last year

I've currently got Burbo at 18. Kris and Strange at centre. Hopefully Burbo goes well, I leave it as is. Burbo shit's the bed and then Kris becomes a different cheap dpp. Strange doesn't get picked and I re-jig a few things, shouldn't be hard as I haven't gone too crazy on Vegas players.

    I really rate this.

Most people seem to have at least 1 of Haas, Hopgood, Murray. I think they are the best options, just depends on whether you want the guaranteed output of Haas, or go a little cheaper with Murray/Hopgood and hope they match him, or at least go close enough that the saved cash makes a difference elsewhere

No worries mate. Just noticed Nicholls filled in Rd 25 when KBrom was out. My guess would be:

    JBrom, Flegler and KBrom starting

Nicholls, Wallace, IKat.. Lemu? Stone or Kerr maybe if Lemu's starting?

Where would the minutes (60+) for Smithies come from once Horse is back? Does Horse take a 50 min role with Guler dropping back to the gutter mins?

    Has previously/predicted to look(ed) like:

    Tapine - 50-55
    Papa - 45-50
    Horse - 65-70

    Guler - 40-45
    Saulo - 25
    Other - 20

    Edges - 70-80

Yeah could be a make or break decision I think. Likely using what would be my MID funds on Cook, Aitken and Tommy along with what I think is quite a strong bench. I can’t help feeling like there is a lot more value in the cheaper MIDs compared to the barren wasteland that is hooker, centre and WFB. I’m sure a lot of others agree but are rightfully a little cautious not picking Haas given how highly owned he is. Think this’ll be my first year not picking him when fully fit Rolling Eyes

Look i really dont know but I figure at full strength taps/horse around 50 each. Papa/guler 30-40 Thought hosking would be the other bench forward for edge/versatility.

That would leave around 60-65 for smithies

    Its probably wishful thinking

Agreed. My issue was to go 2 gun FRF (Hops and Murray) and Paps as my top FB or only one of the guns + a FB gun. Either decision involves a Vegas player so it can’t wait until next week. I hate this split TLT!

Do we think Hynes will drop in price or getting a better overall team (of middies)

or another keeper (Grant, tough draw / Ponga off perfect season)?

I think at least $100k in the bank will be a good idea.

Shut up shut up shut up

I have Hynes and Cleary combo rn

Strongly considering Api despite the R1 bye.

    1. Will save me a trade if he does perform as expected.
    2. Bye will be out of the way - won't have another until round 13.
    3. Allows me to loop Cheese - if he shits the bed, I can always swap Api to an Eels HOK or Grant (and downgrade elsewhere)
    4. Will be a nice POD

    Api
    Tatola Lolo Hopgood
    Sitili Piakura
    (C)leary Hutch
    Aitken Holmes
    Kris Papy Rapana

Luki Curran(will downgrade to Salmon if named for 200k) Shoes Burbo
    Cheese Cotric Weekes Mikaele

Few too many Raiders my only issue

As of now, I’ve five green tics and five green jerseys and exactly $100K itb. What could go wrong? May start some sort of team tracker after work tonight.

Is Jacob Gagai likely to hold his spot for a while (ie while Munro is injured)? Or would the whole backline reshuffle when Wighton comes back?
