I'm wondering if I should use my second last trade on Sandon to DRussell for 17th man with Haas out and Murray the following week. Planning to use my last on Hopgood final round.

Bula and VTW not really up to scratch it seems. Bula plays after Sandon, so would need to make the trade before getting a look, but could take Bula's score anyway if he jags something.

Probably should've grabbed Russell a couple of weeks ago instead of red dot McLean. Hindsight and all though.

Few 40s from the pack including an early shower for the Friz wasn’t ideal but Graham potentially back in might give me enough on the bench to ride the remaining byes.

May have won the eliminator qtr final 🙃 and stayed alive in L3 finals as well

Yeah mad ragrets over my downer posts on Garrick.. but in saying that, Lemu was looking on track to score just aswell, if not better, without a try.

Yeah the Lemmy thing was more bad luck than anything else (that’s what I’m telling myself anyway) but I was 85% sure Garrick was going to score fine but got the Heebie jeebies last minute.

    I think you should. It’s a guaranteed high 40s/low 50s score.

976 in a round where I only had 17 available players is gold. So happy with that.

It took me til round 7 just to break into the top 30,000 but I've held strong to now be sitting just outside the top 3,000.

Gagai, Ramien and AFB all going 70+ was fantastic.

    Killed my round.
779 all done. Thanks to playing 16 (again), and carrying the 3 Parra players. Add to that the centre triumvirate of Lemu, Koula & Manu.
    What a week.

Final trade next week, most likely Moses to the highest averaging player I can get.
    Limping over the line.
Lessons learned for 2024: don't sideways trade green dots, when a player has a bad couple of weeks hang tough they will come good (E.Butcher I'm looking at you), don't trade guns who aren't injured even when they will miss a couple of rounds due to byes. Pick DPPs if you can and use your bench to play 17 as much as possible so you have 6+ trades for the final rounds and the inevitable resting, suspensions and injuries.

Raiders playing last so can’t even see how bad Cotric is before deciding whether to get a CTR

Cheers mate. Just a bit hesitant due to him being a rookie and kinda appeared out of nowhere. Suddenly dishes up a 20 or something.

I've also been lucky avoiding injuries/suspensions the past few weeks. Preston's late out now turning out to be a blessing in disguise too it seems. Final round could see another obvious trade in addition to Hopgood if nothing else strikes sooner.

I'll have 6 players in the first two games next round, so will think more on it once they make it through unscathed.

It’s obviously going one of two ways: worse than usual or a three try 38.

Awesome work mate cheer I've seen you steadily climbing after the rough start. Teams looks good with Robson and Drink back next week to cover Haas and drop Colq (who scored aswell as some CTR/WFBs this week anyway). Gagai and Ramien murdered it too meanwhile. No Murray to deal with the following week either.

    Coming up Filthhouse cheer

Scored 13 in a 48-2 defeat, gives me some hope.

Don’t think I can quite reach Garrick or Manu with trading Kris, so will likely hold and hope Cotric does something.

Nahhhh, definitely don’t get Russell. He’s bound to….mmm ‘dish up a 20’ or something on account of him being a rookie 😉

My other options Bula, VTW and Sandon fit the bill.. rookies dishing up crap lately Laughing Sandon's more expected though with the benching.

Might do a Wong and get subbed randomly.

Bula with the 40 average says it's not much of an upgrade on paper.. might have to just lie in the bed I made a couple of weeks ago when I went bank/CTR loop option over DRussell.

Haha yeah. Maybe 2 good ankles between Manu and Frizell. Not sure where Lemu's head is at. Latrell was looking banged up too. Head, shoulder, maybe a limp? DRussell looking a bit burned out too. Rookies eh?

962 for me this week pre-updates. Over 40 points above the YAFSS average but not enough to get me a win in L1 semi-finals or eliminator QF.
Also lost L3 draft final so not the best of rounds!
Congrats to those who beat me & best of luck for next rounds of the comps.
