Have zero money in the bank and don't really like any options below his price, maybe Diaby the only one. Would need to turf Salah or Rashford to make any meaningful moves. Also keen to find some cash for Trippier very soon.

Team is going well, just Richarlison that's the issue. Decided to hold him only for him to get benched and seems likely Son stays at striker now. He's probably going to drop a couple of times over the break but don't want to move early.

Well Rash did ok, if Son is up front for a while I think that's a go. We have this week then IB right? Seems like a good week for a quick shake up with two banked transfers for the wildcard into IB.

Nah it's international break now. Next games are in two weeks.

If there’s an inkling that Son has that position long term then I’ll drop one of my United players for him, probably Rashford.
Depends what happens over the break too

I imagine with the pricing this will be quite a common theme this year, a lot of sideways moves that don’t quite work out straight awayAardvark wrote:

If Salah ends up going to Saudi Arabia this week, the pricing is such that there may as well be no salary cap.

I don’t think the Saudis will go as high as $200m. Would be bonkers to move him with no chance to replace him.robelgordo wrote:If Salah ends up going to Saudi Arabia this week, the pricing is such that there may as well be no salary cap.

I don't think he will yet, but not ruling it out. Liverpool rejected 150m pound transfer fee, not sure how high the Saudis will go. At some point the offer gets hard to refuse tho. Window for Saudi teams closes later this week

Re: Fpl 23/24
having another poor season.
WC activated; any glaring issues?
Turner Areola
Cash Trip Udo Burn (likely tisis) Taylor
Jensen Son Salah Maddison Anderson (maybe palmer)
Foster Watkins Haaland.

Re: Fpl 23/24
Just saw this - nice team!
I'm not on my own WC so haven't looked too close but I think I'd want an Arsenal defender (probably instead of Udogie or Burn). Also feels like you're a player short in the MID/FWD dept, but pretty hard to get all of Salah/Son/Haaland/Trip without those kind of sacrifices.

I can move jensen to soucek and udo to white. Gives me a west ham mid and aresnal def. Going to hope soucek can keep pace with bowen within 2/3 points. I think Foster is outperforming his price so hope he keeps it up.

Re: Fpl 23/24
I like Soucek, he looks like he's back to a more advanced role like when he first joined WHU
And Udo to any Arsenal defender sounds good to me. Currently own Udo, but don't think he has much of a ceiling.

Hey, so, can we get some smack talk going here?
I mean, I'm top of both our draft and fantasy leagues and really should be making more of how much you lot absolutely suck.
Because its lots. And I'm plainly very wise. So wise.
@Blindside - you're pretty hot on my heels. Smack it up biatch!

For some reason the draft league doesn’t show for me anymore since early GWs (after all the effort to set it up)
Not far behind in 3rd place after being ranked 3.2m after GW5

Re: Fpl 23/24
That sucks about the draft League - what's your team name and Ill update you?
And kudos on the high rank recovery! I', inside 10k for the first time - normally live in the 3 millrange
