I mean start two halves, stack the reserves, only have 1 half cover for the 17…

Figure I can ride my luck this late with the lack of squad balance

Ehh realise now I could also have McInnes AND Murray (instead of Garrick) which looks better on paper but leaves me without any ctr/wfb cover, which would be a problem for me when Drinky has the bye

My brother. You cannot seriously be asking if 7 halves is a lot when you've literally got every top half in fantasy. Actually fuck it, just buy Moses too.

Assuming I make that 2nd trade, Team is

    Grant
    Hops JdB Horse
    Fifi Papi
    Cleary Hynes
    Penis Lemu
    Drink Teddy Ponga

    Munster Murray DCE (SJ)
    Matto Hands Kris Kiraz

Still 4 Eels but 4 trades left, and only other bye players are Kiraz (not in 17), Drink (hold) and Murray (hold) so not too fussed. Should I be fussed?

I'd probably switch Kris and Hands as more likely to go 50+ in that double loop this week. (Although it's still pretty unlikely tbf)

McInnes seems like the sort of trade in that makes sense on the surface. But there's a good chance he still only plays 50 mins and scores you 40s.

Agree if it’s a choice between Murray and mcinnes there is no choice

Does Murray's bye not impact things? When looking at trade ins from this point forward I try and look it from a total points perspective. McInnes could outscore Murray with the extra game

If you’re doing this have to look at your Murray replacement in R26

    So it’s not say

    McInnes is 55*6 = 330
    Murray is 60*5 = 300

It’s that plus add whatever you think your 18th man is worth. Anything over 30 in the above example, you take Murray.

Note you should chuck in your own numbers I just made up some round ones for quick maffs

Yeah I think you’re right, with Lussick sniffing about it might make more sense to elevate Kris, or Kiraz even, over Hands

This is my current team, would love some advice on trades. Have a lot of avenues I can go down but would like some other opinions. 9 trades left, $115k ITB

    Grant
    De Belin Haas Tohu
    Preston Papali'i
    Cleary Hynes
    Penisini Lemuelu
    Drinkwater Marzhew Manu

    Ponga SJ Cook Matterson

    Bula H.Graham S.Russell Colquhoun

Yes, I'd definitely do Kiraz if that's possible, but not sure that works with your trades with Bulldogs playing later.

With that amount of trades, I think you can burn a few with marginal upgrades of green dots. Manu to Ted, Matto to Murray (not that marginal, both should score comfortably more) for a start. Bula to Garrick if you can afford that.

The question I would ask myself is am I happy with who I’ve got in positions 17,18, & 19 on any given week and go from there. You’re well setup to chop and change your team for the rest of the year.

You’re definitely looking at playing Bula at 17 next week. Colquhoun is decent enough at 18, should he get his spot back next week.

It looks like you need to keep Matto to deal with Haas’ last bye, so can’t really move him on yet.

Graham and Russell appear to be the two weak links, and honestly, I don’t know what you do with them.

Do you think theres an argument to hold Matto? RCG and Lane out, and 3 forward bench now with Lussick signing could mean he goes back to his usual scoring?

If my calculations are correct, he can do Manu to Ted and Bula to Garrick and have $0 leftover. But, if he wanted to add $6K to that, along with marginal upgrade, he could do Tohu to Murray.

Yeah on closer review Kiraz doesn’t work

Thinking now I just play Matto, put the two Warriors at 17/18, so I can look at Hands then Kris and most likely trade DCE in to play over both.

I’ve currently got matto as my 18th man in a full strength squad and I think he’s as solid as they come

Lane out and RCG. When matto is there hopgood a minutes to down. I reckon matto will benefit from an uptick in minutes now lanes out as well and we see more if his earlier season scoring return
