    Think you're right, the negative breakeven keeps putting me off though. He's on a hotter streak than Drinky though, probably makes sense to cut and run.

    Against the Bulldogs though, and Rooster have been shit. I'd be tempted to punt Manu for his cash instead, if you can manage without his dpp, and rd27. Hmm, typing that last bit, maybe punt Tago afterall?

    All have a bye remaining, the funds from this are to fund Fifita/Cleary

    I don't think Hopgood's a trade out. But I don't love the Cotter trade in either. Any other fodder?

    TU: Haas
    TD: Drinkwater

    My last trade in isolation is basically Drinkwater to Haas. Bula would replace Drinkwaters spot.  Haas feels like a strong upgrade though slightly luxury.

    Hot take, Haas tapers off and averages low to mid 50s for the rest of the season

    WFB has mostly been a shit show this season and Drinky is having a Turbo-esque season with a massive ceiling, I'd keep him

    Only Loiero really, but would be to a cash down and make my EMG yuck. I don't necessarily need to make that trade, it's just to allow for both of Fifita/Cleary. Doing so leaves 2 trades remaining, but skipping Fifita leaves me 3 trades remaining which feels safer

    In which case I'd keep both Tohu and Hopgood, and trades will be Tino and Robson to Murray and Cleary. I won't have Fifita and Haas (yeeted him for Tino last week lol) but my replacements can more than perform on their day. Doing just these 2 trades gives me

    Grant
    Horse JDB Murray
    Nikora IPap
    Hynes Cleary
    Manu Tago
    Drinky Teddy Ponga

    Hopgood SJ DCE Harris
    Loiero Ramien Hands Talau

    Thoughts?

    I like it. Ramien another option if you want to hold on to a bit more cash.

    I'd probably run with that for this week. I don't think Hopgood is a trade out either.

    Whilst that's true, you only need hooker cover if Grant is out. Hopefully he isn't. I'm running with only Graham as cover and hoping for the best.

    mrbrownstone wrote:My original plan was gonna be SJ + NAS to Murray + Cleary, but the more I think about it, the more selling SJ seems like fantasy suicide with his draw to come. So, operation avoid selling SJ is in full effect. Any thoughts on the following:

    Option 1:

    Manu -> Lomax (or Timoko/Graham et al, any centre in that price bracket)
    iPap -> Cleary (could also be Tohu, either or)
    NAS -> Murray

    4 trades for injuries, Hopgood my only MID/EDG cover.

    Option 2:

    NAS -> Cotter
    Manu -> Cleary

    5 trades for injuries. Means I have to play Kris at centre this week and in R26 when Penis has a bye, but going forward Penis and Lem would be my starting centres and I could push Robson or Cotter to 18th man. Could also trade iPap or Tohu to Cleary in this scenario, but that leaves me with the above issue of Hopgood being my only cover for 5 positions.

    Option 3:

    Robson -> Koro
    iPap -> Cleary
    NAS -> Murray

    4 trades for injuries. I reckon Koro can probably match Robson from here with a game in hand. Same MID/EDG issue.

    Option 4:

    SJ -> Cleary
    NAS -> Murray

    Stick with the original plan. Leaves me with better team balance. I've been stuck in the mid 3,000s for ages, hope that getting on Cleary ASAP and anti-Podding SJ helps.

    When I write it out like that, option 2 seems like the play as long as I can get away with Kris at centre during Lemuelu and Penisini's byes. Having 3 gun centres in Manu/Penis/Lem, plus Kris as cover, with Penis at 18th man is probably overkill.

    I prefer all three options to selling SJ. Agree option 2 is the most appealing.

    SJ has scored 8 tries in 18 games against the Raiders.
    Only team who he has a better try scoring rate against is the Titans, who the Warriors play after the bye.

    I wouldn't be selling for anyone.

    There’s no point in bringing in Piakura over Skelton/Colq just to be EMG cover is there? Better to just save the money and take the red dot when it comes in a week or two?

    Likely doing

    Boyd, Preston, Tohu
    to
    Cleary, Horse, Murray

    I still would really like DCE and Garrick, or at least DCE, but can't see a logical path to achieve it this week. Manu directly to DCE would be nice but with Null on bye this week I don't want to have to play Avo at centre against Panthers.
