Love watching Moylan, injury free. Last few years he has been still unheralded yet intergal to the Sharks

Gee JDB was scathing about his sides performance.

Hynes (C), JDB, and Sloan for me in that one.
303/3C.
Rest of the team looks ok so hopefully I can make a decent move up the ranks this round.

What about a sprint between, Saab, Sloan, JAC and AKP?
Would be a great race.

I had Ramien for about three weeks before I threw him into the sun…just doesn’t look as involved as previous years.

Selling Robson for Grant. Seems too sideways? Robson injury cloud, Origin, rest post-origin and a bye... whilst Grant (bar injury) seems pretty good to go for the rest of the season post-origin.

I’m having the same dilemma I can do it now but probs means I have to hold Boyd as my back up hooker not sure that’s worth it? Boyd has declined a bit in recent weeks…… thoughts?mickspicks wrote:Selling Robson for Grant. Seems too sideways? But I am concerned over Robson too if his mins are managed this week, he doesn’t play 19 likely rested round 20 and a bye on run home….

What happened to Nicho last night? Slacker couldn’t even match his score from the last time he played the Dragons. Games like that are definitely not good for consideration for getting back into the NSW side.
Also, happy Friday!

Boyd still put up a 65 2 games ago. I'm definitely holding this week as cover for a potential Hynes origin call up and will move him on for DCE or Cleary round 20 if he doesn't put up good scores over that time. He might lose 50k or something but that's not a huge deal this time of the season.

I think it's unlikely Robson has managed minutes this week, reckon his hamstring is either fine and he plays 80 or if there's still something lingering he doesn't play at all. If it's the latter I would hope we find out at 24hr cut tonight. There's nothing out there so far that suggests he's not good to go though.
Also if Cook is still in the team then Robson may only play half a game and be fine to back up round 20.

It says it all about Nsw and/or Freddy that Hynes is groomed along re Origin, plays a cameo on the edges and misses some tackles, then Moses is brought in game 2 and Hynes punted, that it's genuinely possible he be brought back in for a dead rubber game 3 after being sapped of all confidence from Freddy. Not fantasy related at all. I honestly find the Hynes Origin roller-coaster laughable, embarrassing.
He's our man, no wait he isn't.. but maybe he is ! Fuckoff. I almost hope Qld put up a burger on us.

Hynes made some questionable calls last night tbh, one that sticks out was when the Shark got the 6 again, had 1 tackle (I think?) and then he put the grubber in down the sideline, that's out of Reece Walsh playbook going for the miracle play out of no where

I'd actually like to see them try the Hynes+Moses combo in game 3. Two kicking options instead of it just being easy for QLD to put kick pressure on because Luai never kicks.
Then Cleary+Hynes next year.

I try to remove bias and just call the game of Nrl how I see it, regardless of him being a Shark. The player he is and looks like could even improve, is one who will take a risk. That's part of why he is lauded to this point. He can learn time and a place and read a game, but when u smash a team 52 to 16 and even mid game Ur cruising, I see nothing wrong with the odd hail Mary. It's his make up.
If he isn't up to it, and can't handle big games as alot say he needs to atleast be given a shot, he's just turned up, never looks flustered imo. Who's next on the list of young Origin halves for Nsw ?
The handling of him in this series by selectors is so ridiculous, if he had any fragile or suspect tendencies then they have possibly been made worse.
Not sold on Moses, he still looks like he wants to be the man, end of. Whereas Hynes looks like the man without trying, if that makes sense.
