Sharks out to a quick lead. Barba really looking to get involved just shadowing the ball around the ruck.

8 minutes in and Manly haven't had a set of six.

Them penalties though.

Maybe I saw it from the wrong angle but that last pass (T. Trbojevic to D. Cherry-Evans) looked flat for mine. (Maybe I need sleep.)

I thought it was forward out of the hands personally but I have a bet on the Sharks by heaps

Graham putting the Ref on blast. Also I am happy with that, Vave wasn't involved in the tackle at all.

Yep no dramas with that at all, ball carrying arm was still in the air

Barba completely out of breath during that little half time interview. Several times he was basically standing on top of Ennis when the ball was played. Really looks like he is trying to get involved. 

Lawrence has looked great since he has come on, I think I prefer him in the role of coming off the bench after some of the guys have become tired. Tom Trbojevic has been involved in almost every positive play by Manly. (Wish he played on the left side so Taupau would see the ball more often.)

I'm not confident in my bet at this stage. Manly been unlucky with a few calls, I think they were all correct but they're still setting up those plays.

Will be an interesting second half. Sharks look void of ideas instead the 20.

Barba is looming, I am sure he will make a linebreak this half to set you straight.

Got another look at the Taupau hit and usually I put it down to an unfortunate incident if the guy is falling or dropped down low. But it definitely looked late he will be gone for weeks.

Taupau deserves a couple of weeks, you can't swing the arm like that. I've never been a Barba fan but he really is looking the goods

I don't like the double movement call, just make them play the ball back from the initial tackle or make it a penalty when it happens anywhere on the field not only where tries are concerned. There are plenty of times where players try and pick up meters or run after being tackled and are forced to head back to where they were tackled.

Tom looking like a real star this game.

The trouble is they've grounded the ball in the in goal so they can't run it that way.

biggest blight in the game:

a tiny, innocuous punch like BJ last week is an instant sin bin

but a swinging arm that hits a guy flush on the jaw and knocks him out of the game result in no in game dis-advantage ?
