Blocker with his "In Gold" area.

Parra might provide some updated info on the severity of Hodgson's injury tomorrow or maybe not.

Matterson being 200k more expensive than NAS makes the decision tougher.

Would give me 3 Eels which is fine

Looking forward to round 19 for the first time, if I keep Tapine, I'll have 7 forwards with only 5 spots available (Tap, Horse, JDB, Preston, Matto, Hoppo, Bateman). Saying that, having 12 already playable plus a couple extra with still 7 trades after this week, I can probably afford to ditch Fifita and get him back post Origin.

I’m leaning towards trading Fifita out now

Even if he averages 60 (he won’t) next few weeks he’ll go under 800k. He’s prone to reduced minutes as we’ve seen already so expect price and output will plummet

Getting him back should be easier. Eg when Tohu is on R22 bye, then bring Fifita back for rest of year

Or injuries will dicatate who goes for him. But his price will make it easier, I think

i have no predictions though, i've no idea what will happen. both teams are looking pretty strong. i hope it's a close series all the way with Australia taking the win.

its cool to see anderson and broad lining up for the first test.

I didn't think you could play like that against NZ in NZ, but they did. So I'm not prepared to write it off as a tactic but feels like against the Aus attack is the ultimate challenge.

The whole approach makes a mockery of all those times a child new to cricket has asked, "why don't they just score like a ODI/T20 in Tests?", and a dad/coach/relative has explained it as not possible.

rather than not possible, maybe more accurately; less sustainable...

I'm out of the loop (on a lot of things), but has there been a test match 500 or 600-run innings at a run-a-ball or better?

Many years ago I took my wife to the last session of a test match vs England (her first to watch)
We watched Nathan Astle bring up his 100, then add a further 122 runs of the next 54 balls he faced - she thought this Test Cricket is actually pretty entertaining

I think most teams by now would be around that $14m mark so any more would be marginal really

    Are they?

Im sitting at $13.4m and i have been focusing on cash gen all season as a H2H

im seeing lots of teams in the top of the rankings with less then $14m

    Have you added your bank?
Maybe you have 600k in there

You won’t see a teams true value since it doesn’t show money in the bank

On desktop there's both team Value and squad Value shown in the rankings. Squad Value includes money in the bank.

But I think the app only shows team value

The team in 4th has a lower squad value than I do. $14M+ seems to be plenty to have a chance. You can have a really strong team with that, especially since many players are still undervalued for their scoring potential.
