It’s frustrating. I don’t think there’s been a more obvious case this season of a tackler slipping and losing their feet. Additional to that, it wasn’t even his torso/lower body that landed in the ball carrier. Was more in the rib area - granted I know that’s not a requirement for hip drops but all the serious ones you see are the lower body impacting the legs.

Yeah the Ford one came to mind for me as well, similar. No chance of 2 game suspension and will be a little surprised if its even 1.

Fine vs suspension typically has more to do with loading, if Carrigan is found guilty of an offence he will get time off.

Bottom line the NRL made a moral panic, over officiate it, over sanction it and now have a rod for their back
