Not crazy. Null could go back to his eponymous self shortly - HIA, loss of position, form slump... could easily imagine some gremlins.

Dylan's a better footballer, but in a less valuable position.

    I don't think you're crazy, but I'm not sure I'll follow

I have 20 trades so could pull it off....I think. Could go Hopgood instead really.

Wouldn’t surprise me if Turbo misses out on origin entirely, with either him or Freddy ruling Turbo out for ‘health and focusing on manly premiership’ reasons

I can't see how they can pick Turbo for Origin, unless he has a blinder this weekend. I am a Queensland supporter so I will be glad if they did but he is a shadow of the player he should be at the moment.

I'm grabbing him this week, hopefully can average 40 points over the origin period. Hes scored alright the last month or so bar the panthers game.

    What is $384k priced at?

He means one that won't put up a non-injured game of 5 points.

I am surprised that there are people bringing in mid range backs for Ford, when the best cash cows at the moment are cheap backs that have a lot of money to make and can score decently. Can use the cheap cashies to free up money to stack the other positions.

    Yes.

Don't have a bankroll to upgrade him to anyone good.
Would be a downgrade to Luki or something, and think I'm fine waiting until he comes back.
Average is 46 in non injury games this year so more than playable for 1 and beyond

Also have enough depth that I can field a decent 17 without him.

    Bula, VTW, Smith.

The non-injured, alcohol free Smith we saw at the weekend, we haven't seen in the NRL before, different player.

Not sure you can throw your chips at a 1 game 2023 sample mate.

Pretty much career high tackles, busts and run metres and a very injury prone history points to a massive trap

Highly touted Junior etc means nothing either, look at Sloan and Amone. Duds irl

Most have Bula already, and trading in VTW on a bye is asking for trouble. An option sure, but is a risk mostly not worth taking

Welshy, meet Matt. Matt, this is Welshy. Both lovely-ish folks and I'm sure you'll get along swimmingly

    Evening lads.

Say you had Harry and Hands as your hookers. One obviously isn't carrying much weight. Can use JFords money plus a bit to get another hooker.
Cheese is very popular, but Randall not so. Similar averages, similar BE to Average split

    Why not Randall?

Can ignore both his 80 min games because Campbell had subbed on for Brimson injury instead of HOK in both in which case he’s a high 30s avg at 540k which is gross

Hey, @Blindside we don't hear from you often and it's always valuable when we do.

I had ruled out Host on the basis of being not very good. But I respect your opinion. Can you talk us through why he's an option?

Edit: I meant that Host isn't very good, but happy to acknowledge this also applies to me

Anyone playing to win already has Bula, we don’t even know if VTW is being named next week after his bye and Billy Smith is Billy Smith. I can straight swap to Timoko with Ford and I don’t love it but it’s better for my team balance for 13

Flicking Ford to Bird in one trade.
