    Targeting Moses ?

Yeah Moses has been the highest on my radar, but Matto, Lane, Hopgood and DBrown could bottom out at the right time too. Have 7 origin players currently and will probably trade a few as it looms closer.

Must have some karma coming my way this weekend, was set to bring in Host until I got cold feet on game day, and the reason I went through with my Carty -> Cheese trade is because I had to work through final teamlists and didn’t want to risk missing a benching, don’t usually get to dodge bullets like this unless i cop one right between the eyes at a later time.

Looks like I will be losing two players to the hip-drop.

Haas has a hold of RCG at one point with both his feet off the ground (even if some here say he didn’t) followed by landing on the back of the legs contributing to an injury. Unlucky but don’t know how he escapes a charge based on those facts.

jumped off him this week, hes fun to watch, plays really well, just doesnt get fantasy points,

hes a missle in defence for the broncos, but he puts on hits rather than just tackle botting, has at least one error or penalty a game, and just runs hard and straight, nothing crabby

If he drops off that tackle Kevvie is asking why, these hip drops are pretty dodgy at times

Preston met all those criteria and didn’t get charged.

I think Preston landed on the ankle when old mate stuck it out to keep balance, not on the back of the legs.

If Haas misses a couple, seems an easy trade to Matto/Harris and blow the cash elsewhere.

RCG ducks under the tackle then slips and his legs come apart and haas falls on his legs. It's the equivalent of a head high when the player drops late and falls into the arm.

Out of the curiosities, what happens in a year like next, when Anzac Day falls on a Wednesday? Does the round start on a Wednesday, or end on a Wednesday? Assuming the matches on Anzac Day are played every year on actual Anzac Day?

Also, bummed Carty didn't update to 52 or so, based on all those things the scorers missed.

Anzac day is on a Thursday next year, since it's a leap year and thus moves from Tuesday to Thursday. Very convenient for the NRL as they can just have two Thursday games with minimal disruption.

Ah, that ol’ chestnut. So what happens on the years it does actually fall on a Wednesday.

And parting thought for the night, but what on earth happened to Mitch Rein?

28 for Walsh is not great, although it was an unusual game for the Broncos, given it wasn't in Brisbane.

Yeah would have liked to see him keep the TA (in SC the kicker and chaser both get them), but 28 isn't too bad given the circumstances.

Fantasy should really have a try contribution stat like SC has, so that multiple players can be rewarded for contributions to tries. In SC it's 4 points but if it were added to fantasy, 2 points would be about right.

Can't believe they gave Carrigan 4m for that kick. Sideways maybe.
